  1. Because the Northam lads will be to **** faced to find SMS by 7.45 on a saturday evening having been in the pub since lunch time...
  2. Being in the Championship you mean...
  3. Well at least he doesn't have to worry about celebrating any victories.... I guess his ideal result is a nice 0-0 draw the sort of result you can grow from....
  4. Even more pressure to have winter breaks (read warm weather camps and exhibition games) or additional PL games held abroad then..
  5. I heard this on the radio earlier I think they said BT and Sky are paying less than they did last time for the TV rights?
  6. I think it's this bit from the new chairman (who it appears is also the old chairman) that makes you think they did it as a way if trying to save themselves from relegation However, Jenkins had recently returned to the Hawthorns as a director of WBA Holdings, the club's controlling company, and is now back in his former role. He said: "There is much to do but for now the focus must solely be on the remaining games of this season." Kind of conjures up images of the chairman in a track suit giving a team talk....
  7. They wouldn't. I just find it amusing that this constant push from the club about the "match day experience" seems to miss that the most important part of match day is the stuff that happens on the pitch. I don't give a crap about the PA system or what beer they have in the concourse as much as I do about having a decent team and manager that well ... Actually win games
  8. I would say it means exactly that. This will be a firum to discuss the "match day experience" important stuff like your halftime hot dog and softer bog paper..
  9. to discuss a wide range of off-pitch subjects.... ...problem is its the on pitch stuff that bothers me. Still I guess some people will want to be involved in helping decide the colour of the paper towels in the loo and whether the club offer snickers or dairy milk at the refreshments booth...
  10. Trying to sell the CL dream when you are staring relegation in the face would be a hard sell for anyone....
  11. Yeah good luck selling the current mess to a half decent manager. Maybe if we had got rid of MoPe before the transfer window we could have used that as a sweetener but know not so much...
  12. Not sure how this them helps right now. They changed manager and that didn't have much effect. They went with Sturridge on loan to try and rescue them and he got injured after 3 games. Sacking the chairmen won't really make a difference other than making the owner feel a bit better.
  13. He could get away with it if we had totally outplayed Liverpool and lost to a dodgy last minute penalty. But as we were totally out played by a Liverpool side barely trying he just looks like a ****.
  14. Pussy Lallana's toes turn yellow after freezing match Liverpool footballer Adam Lallana suffered an unusual post-match injury following a chilly game on the south coast. The England international only played from the 79th minute, going on as a substitute*during the clash against Southampton, his old club, on Sunday afternoon. But it appears his brief run around the St Mary's pitch wasn't enough to compensate for the time braving the cold in the stand. https://a.msn.com/r/2/BBJ1h1V?m=en-gb
  15. Possession isn't defensive in it's self though. Man city play possession football (including iirc the highest number of back passes in the league) and no one is calling them defensive its what you do with the possession that counts we are slow and ponderous with it, moving the ball painfully slowly up pitch, but then most of our players are slow and ponderous so I guess we shouldn't be surprised.
  16. Stop listening? When was this golden age where fans were listened to? Did you open your wallet all through the Lowe, Wilde and crouch era? Did you feel valued then? I guess people just felt really valued when we were doing well a couple of seasons ago... Let's face people don't want to go because we are ****. Fair enough and understandable in its own way...but let's not bull**** that people are taking some principled stand against evil football owners that don't care about fans especially when they had STs during the Lowe era.
  17. eh? isn't that kind of the point of being a football fan you pick a team (or it picks you) and stick with them because its your team.....
  18. Don't West Brom have Chinese owners these days to? if we go down is there a theme developing...
  19. Sturridge will score the goals to keep them up...wait what...oh... er...yeah they are ****ed
  20. yeah and then probably replaced him with Dave Watson for the rest of the season...
  21. yeah jobs at the bottom of the ladder it won't be any of the top echelons of the club, the ones the caused the mess, that will lose their jobs.
  22. Wolves game? Try pre-season, even then I had my doubts, apparently you can't judge anything on pre-season games but as he was sold to us as an attacking high press manager it didn't take long to work out that was bollix.
  23. We seem to have a different player as captain every bloody game and none of them ever seem to provide any sort of on pitch leadership.
  24. I'd take Conte...
  25. After yesterdays total lack of effort in the second half I'm not sure trust them either. Might as well just play the under 18s and Lemina a player who put in loads of effort despite apparently having a sickness bug...the rest of them don't look like the give a crap.
