  1. Well seeing as Swansea and WBA just beat Liverpool by siting deep and countering I could forgive that if we get a result.
  2. He seems strangely better in the air attacking the opposition goal than defending our goal in the air...
  3. I'm late to the party so I doubt I have anything new to add. I only had Solent and MoTD highlights to go on but Lemina is a very good player. First time I saw him play for us I thought he was the dogs danglies but that injury and then lack of match time really put a dent in his season but it looks like the boy is back. Looked like a good performance all around and we need plenty more like that to get through this season. The team that played today is probably our best team right now with only Hoj either for Romeu (who I rate but looks like he could do with a break) or Boufal and Austin (when fit) for Gudio being the only two who might stake a claim bar injuries or suspension. Stick with that team for the rest of season MoPe and you might save your job.
  4. I see Pep named only 6 subs in City's game today as his squad is so thin on the ground Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola defended his decision to name only six substitutes in Saturday's draw after TV pundit Gary Neville labelled the move a 'joke'. Guardiola insisted he had no more available first-teamers left to fill the bench at Turf Moor with seven players — David Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Fabian Delph, John Stones, Gabriel Jesus, Leroy Sane and Phil Foden — all injured. 'We don't have any more players,' complained Guardiola. 'I would like to have 18 players but they are injured. I could have called one of the second team but they played their match on Friday and they wouldn't have got on the pitch ahead of Yaya [Toure] or [Oleksandr] Zinchenko so we decided not to use them.' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-5348627/Man-City-boss-Pep-Guardiola-hits-Gary-Neville.html?ITO=1490 I guess he isn't a big fan of youth players then. Seems a bit weird having the Man city manager complaining about squad depth.
  5. It's not I was there our crossing was woeful against a team that were set up to eat up high balls into the box. JWPs corners never beat the first defender.
  6. His set pieces and crosses against Brighton were in the main woeful even the goal looked like a scuffed free kick.
  7. Does an attacking player make a better manager? Yes Shane Long's goal return could make any manager look **** and Harry Kane could probably make MoPe look good....oh that's not what you meant
  8. You do know, that in general, sacked managers continue to get their (or a portion of their) contract paid by their old club unless they get a new job don't you? They aren't normally sat at home wondering how they are going to pay the mortgage next month...
  9. The question is would any of them want to take us on over having a few months of relaxing on the beach waiting for less of a cluster**** club to offer them a job.
  10. All that proves is we are capable of being ****e where ever we play. Home or away makes no difference its not like SMS is some fortress where 25k+ saints fans are roaring the team on to get a result.
  11. Shouldn't Shane long have scored by now? even if it was by accident off his arse or something he must be due a fluke rebound by now. Has any striker ever had such a **** goal scoring record?
  12. In fairness Swansea have won two games setting up not to lose they've stuck everyone behind the ball and tried to play on the counter. It works for a lot of teams. It doesn't work for us because we are ****e, seem incapable of moving the ball quickly when we counter and we do finally get a counter attack right we are left relaying on Shane long to finish the move....
  13. Nope I haven't laughed much this season....
  14. Well I'm blaming you. You are off the ITK list now and please never start another transfer thread again...
  15. I will ask again why do any of you think he would want this cluster **** of a job?
  16. Terrible stuff again I don't think changing the manger would even help now I think the damage has been done. We are blunt up front and weak all over the pitch we have no leaders in the team and seemingly the club has no idea that we are in a relegation battle..
  17. We are like a **** Arsenal..
  18. I'm fan of Davis he has been a good servant but he shouldn't be starting anymore he has offered nothing tonight how he can be starting ahead of Lemina or Boufal I have no idea.
  19. Started badly got worse with a soft pen and now we are just passing it around the back like ****s. Honestly I think we are down tonight the players should have been pumped right up for this and they weren't
  20. WTF is that team selection what's Long going to do against a team with 10 behind the ball. And why Davis? If we want to be defensive Lemina is better if we want to attack (as if) Boufal would be more use.
  21. MoPe was interviewed by Blackmore before the Watford game and MoPe said (paraphrasing) that Bertrand, Cedric and Romeu were nailed on starters if fit. Not often you hear a manager say that.
  22. So Spartak wouldn't sell becuase they couldn't get a replacement first..I mean is that allowed? I just assumed it wasn't....other wise why the **** don't we do that...
  23. Didn't that last run of games include three missed penalties? I also think that given the lack of goals this season you have to question why we weren't scoring the answer always seems to come back to the **** poor finishing skills of our forward line, two different managers, same inability to actually finish our chances.
  24. So we go down sell most of the team, keep a few youngsters and buy no new players at all..... well yes in that scenario we would be ****ed
  25. Has that been reported? I think the consensus is we haven't done that hence why he isn't having photos taken in a saints shirt right now.
