Well his international manager rates him http://www.ballymenatimes.com/sport/football/northern-ireland-steve-is-my-captain-fantastic-1-7621333

At the moment that looks likely. I imagine McQueen will get the nod of Yoshida as he is actually playing that position for the under 23s and Yoshida has been turd every time he has been played as a fullback.
-
So how many have we lost to injury through the ****ing internationally break Bertrand Targett Long I have missed anyone else?
-
only from a few numpties great player for us over the last few seasons.
-
So has one international break done for both our left backs then? With Cedric injured and Pied out for the season our we now down to one fit full back in Cuco?

From the horses mouth a couple of weeks away yet. http://www.eatsleepsport.com/southampton/saints-ace-hails-training-bow-2161536.html#/.V_dXm0Zwbq0

Morgan possibly going back to France in the Jan window.. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2016/10/06/disappointing-man-united-signing-who-cost-has-833k-per-match-offered-escape-route-in-january-transfer-window/

I have a horrible feeling he will disappoint because by the time he steps on the pitch the expectation levels for him will have gone through the roof. I give it two games before he is being compared to Gaston and the worse signing since Ali Dia thread gets started.....

The Checkatrade Trophy...a real incentive .or just a gimmick ?

Wonder if we will see Olomola in around the first team soon like what little I've seen of him rather Shane long like in his work rate and speed. -
right back at ya.
-
Well he was Romeu's replacement for the Palace game ( where he played well to be fair) so yeah safe bet to assume Harry is the back up at the moment.
-
Yes there is this thread was started about a list showing the most expensive squads...net spend has no relevance on that list. That doesn't mean it's irrelevant only irrelevant on the topic of this thread as Barry correctly pointed out.
-
So we've made it to the second international break and things are looking pretty promising to me. Do people still think Puel will be gone by Christmas and is out of his depth? Or is he winning people round.
-
In fairness the list in the op doesn't measure the best team it merely shows which is the most expensive. The list also takes no account how the money spent on each team was acquired so CB is correct in the context of this list net spend isn't relevant. The only thing the list in the op shows is how much money each team has spent on it's squad.

Vic always turned up for the games against the big six yesterday was no exception. And really the racism card? One of the most heavily criticised players in our squad is JWP ffs.
-
Yep had to by Romeu or Hoj for me they ran midfield yesterday.
-
Metro PL team of the week. One saints player ...... VVD ?. Guess they didn't watch the game yesterday ( VVD is a great player but poor yesterday) http://metro.co.uk/2016/10/03/premier-league-team-of-the-week-dele-alli-gary-cahill-and-alex-oxlade-chamberlain-feature-6166804/

Interesting because the Solent taters were adamant Forster was injured during the game and was struggling to move or kick by the end of the game.
-
Big team getting the rub of the green from the Ref again .....
-
Late in the game trying to shore up for the point and play on the break for a cheeky win. I would absolutely take off Austin who has zero pace and keep on Redmond who does have pace to play on the counter. Perfectly understandable sub from Puel.
-
Solent reckon Forster is playing with an injury..... Can hardly kick by all accounts.
-
VVD worst game in a while seems to be doing an impression of Yoshida on a bad day. Still very even game as long as we can cope with Leicesters one and only tactic of pumping it long as early as possible we should get something from this game.
-
Clearly the Europa league is easier than the PL we've played a second string side in two games, picked up 4 pts, top the group and have yet to concede a goal. Rotation is the way to go as far as I can see if we get past the group stage then things might change but right now things are working out well IMO.

How many penos have Liverpool had this season? seems like they've been getting a lot.
