  1. We are looking more and more Pardewesque ................Long balls a plenty, vulnerable to pace, loosing the midfield, unable to react to dominant opposition tactics, sticking to two up front - if not almost three when we can't get hold of the ball..........We can't keep the ball so we bring on Richardson who has completed two passes to his team mates all season! If Richardson is the answer what is the question?
  2. Not the back five perhaps but himself........ We were out numbered and outplayed in midfield - Diamond my arese.....It ok where it fits but not every bloody game. They ran riot down the planks most of the game - there was little protection for the back four all the game. I'm an Adkins fan but his tactical decisions are becoming very suspect. We are hoofing it more and more - were fortunate at Exeter and very fortunate at Peterborough!
  3. Sweeping up in no mans land like that is his problem and has been so many times in his career - bad decision making in exactly that type of situation. That is true and we don't often give Bart a chance so we don't know whether he would be an improvement - my hunch is he would be better - lets play him and find out because one thing that is for sure, most agree there isn't a lot between them so there little to loose and possible quite a bit to gain..
  4. This is said in jest - I hope!!
  5. We are hoofing it thats what is going wrong. If we cant play a passing game with this expensive group of players NIGEL when can we?
  6. There seems to be a remarkable amount of praise for Puncheon on this thread and probably more than his contribution deserved. His first touch was 'fine' but his vision was poor along with his enthusiasm. He very rarely affected a game in a score changing way and I don't just mean he didn't score, he didn't assist either. He's a bit of a 'look at me' pretty pretty boy but not football savvy or particularly skillfull. His shooting was nothing short of terrible and runs into dangerous positions were non existant as was his defending.......= lazy A player of dubious quality and would agree with posters mentioning his suspect attitude. Keep your expectations low and you won't be dissapointed. Good luck with BT always loved him here.
  7. Totally disagree with this. His influence would totally change a match and the way others play. The ball sticks with AL and is so rarely given away, this changes the whole comlex of the game as the statistics prove beyond doubt! His absense in no way excuses the other players form when he isn't in the team but it without doubt does affect the them - even against Man U where we were unable to keep possesion when we had control of the game and more importantly later when we were tiring - hugely miss him ....!!
  8. Referee terrible and is obviously a Muauer fan. The 'fouls' he gave them in the second half were so far off the rules and Guly being completely bundled off the ball without getting a thing - What the hell was that about?????? According to the City fans he does this all time, favouring Man u. He gave them 'fouls' continually in the second half. Something was definately very strange about his performance..........
  9. I think you could be right there........
  10. 10000%
  11. Didn't Holloway say exactly the same line again this week about a team who alledgedly tapped up one of his players - 'they've got no respect' the guy obviously has a severe complex - a huge insecure attention seeker....
  12. What, experiment against Manuer? I'm not quite sure that's the best game to experiment or play with virtually three up front but hell, Iv'e been wrong before lol
  13. Not sure what Harding has done wrong lately. Harding at LB and Dickson at Left Mid. Punch as kit man...........where he can play in his comfort zone all neat and tidy!
  14. A very good analysis of the situation with JP. I really do not believe he is capable of changing up a gear though. It's not only a very simple psycological issue. It's personal performance asperation and knowing where he's at rather than thinking he has arrived there. Rather similar to Morgan in some ways, a decent skill level but there's lots of smoke and mirrors and never wan'ts to really be something very special and die for cause.
  15. He does't hurt the opposition - ever! (playing for us) If JS is the answer, what is the question?
  16. why do you mention both subjects in the same context ?? Whilst Punch is very average but wanted a bit by some managers. Pulis is evidently not required by anyone so how can we get shot of him????? It's not at all ridiculous it's life - we are stuck with Pulis............................Let Punch go I say, he cant hit a barn door and some of his Millwall 'goals' were very fortuitous. He is not good enough for us and Pulis doesn't play for the first team anyway! I 'm sure we would get rid if we could - obvioiusly........
  17. Priceless...........
  18. But what about the bus? Are you on it? ;-)
  19. I want Blackpool to go down. I want Blackpool to loose against Liverpool - it's as simple as that!
  20. All the singers to one end - thats what is most effective by far. As we get further up the leagues and further in cups we will meet bigger teams who will fill the Northam and out sing us. Best strategy to help the team is all together in one big Kop. I'm against the current set up.
  21. Holloway ........................oh dear oh dear oh dear - not interested in a fourth round tie at home to Man u !!!! I hope you are pleased with yourself. This is Karma which will now continue to work against you - Liverpool looked handy today - good luck against them - you will need it.....You have put pressure on your first team now - and yourself..........It's bad news for you.......
  22. Respect in competition is earnt by fighting hard in the race and being magnanimous in victory and defeat. 'Generous' comments which are 'qualified' with exceptions are worthless and insincere. I was supporting Blackpool as the underdog in the PL and with the Brett connection, a guy who I had great respect for as a player here. As a Saints supporter why should I respect Holloway now? The singing is pure banter as you well know Mr Holloway. We took your supporters singing in the same context - no different to any other football match across the country every week. So what was the motive behind the outburst, why are you bitter? You even chose to 'qualify' further by alluding to the wealth of our club and what we may be paying our players compared to yours - completely unnecessary - why did you feel the need to devalue our victory? A very sad moment and one which I hope - looking back, you are embarrassed by.
  23. How observant you are.............both these childish guys have a great obsession with their selves. Lost a lot of respect for both of them in the last week or so. Both suffering from a severe bout of envy!
  24. Sounds reasonable but we could 'rest' Richardson who was the one real down point of the Exeter game - absolutely poor actually....
  25. Evidently !! Sometimes it's not enough though....
