This is not quite correct. Wotte's record actually extends over the whole season as he was a major part of the decision-making process that limited JPs options to only play kids whilst sidelining experienced quality players (whom we have still largely paid the wages for anyway!) I am afraid I cannot review Wotte's input based on when he took over from JP, it is illogical to me as the damage was done at the start and middle of the season through a club policy that Wotte was central to. Since JP left that policy has changed given the realisation of the nonsense it was - hence Wotte appearing to do better than JP. To properly assess Wotte, you have to assess his contribution to the WHOLE season not just as coach under more relaxed club policies of player selection. He has contributed since last summer.

I'd say - again if the current decision-making regime is in place - the odds of that are probably about 50/50, its not just feasible, its very possible.

I wholeheartedly agree with that. Rudi has always been a LM player and scored a shedload of goals for Hearts in that role. He has played LB and so slots in there at a time of need. But you only have to look at his body language to sense he's had enough here. Haven't seen him acknowledge the crowd or interact with us as he did when he arrived. He's been so badly managed this year he's giving about 60% of his true capability... not good when you wear a No. 7 shirt. We cant blame Rudi entirely though, its disgraceful (actually criminally neglegent) how our senior players have been sidelined this season to encourage them to leave - WHILST WE HAVE PAID THEIR WAGES ANYWAY! Too little realisation of the gross errors made too late. That will sum this season up.

Dexter isnt better than we currently have IMHO. But, only if you're comparing him to Euell and Saga. He is probably better than DMG at the moment though.

Clinical finishing from midfielders and strikers hasnt really happened all season less upon Saga's return, and CCC teams are now manmarking him. You're essentially correct - an experienced/proven strike force may have arrived too late and with too few players. For me, losing the talisman of Stern John may have been the greatest error. Already a hero for saving us last season we know he can turn it on when he needs to. Rasiak to relegation rivals was simply stupidity. Dyer to Swansea, as a scoring midfielder, suicide. I dont think Lowe has alot of explaining to do, he will never admit his mistakes. But he needs to never be allowed to make a decision at SFC again.

Under the current regime I'd agree. We need some hope once we relegate - that will mean a removal of Lowe and his manager. If we do that we might be able to survive in League 1 for a season before rebuilding. If not, we're on our way to League 2... its as simple as that.

DMG has been put under too much pressure , too early. Its not his fault, but I worry that this daft policy of playing him once his confidence was clearly shot hasnt permanently broken him. Though he may have given us a lifeline today. DMG the next Dexter Blackstock? So near to doing well yet so far?
