Jeez. So think all people who pray turn into retards? Let's assume she's not an idiot who does what you suggest and us not praying for that. Let's assume that she's praying for some direction on how she can be of help to others. That may give her peace and comfort. She may be accepting all the government advice and following it. How does her praying impact you or anyone else?

Stay on your point. You claim that my neighbour praying to something that she calls god impacts others. Explain in words of one syllable how it impacts a) you or b) anyone else. Give actual hypothetical examples, not waffle.

The issue is how it impacts you. The answer it doesn't. It has nothing to do with you. At all.

I don't believe that anyone's beliefs should be challenged on the basis that personal beliefs are exactly that, and have f*ck to all to do with anyone if they are not impacted by it. It makes no difference to you, me, MLG, or anyone if someone wants to pray to whatever they choose to believe in for some comfort or guidance at this or any other time. Dredging this thread up as MLG has, and calling out people to join in a debate that only MLG wants, is crass / cheap /pathetic given what people are trying to adjust to at the moment. People have said that they don't want to play his games and MLG should respect that.

MLG, this is my last post on the subject so I'll be blunt. You can be pedantic and opinionated at the best of times, but here you are showing yourself as insensitive, judgemental, opinionated, selfish and an all round bell end. In the real world people are dying, suffering, and full of fear about health, family, friends, finances, future etc etc etc. This is serious and it is not the time for you to challenge people's beliefs and/or that are private to them. If my neighbour who has no religious beliefs feels that prayer is helpful at this time, nobody else has any right to an explanation as to why that is being done. Your arrogance is beyond belief - how you can feel that anyone must explain to you what they choose to believe in/do I really don't know. Focus on what makes you feel better at this time. Leave others to do what works for them. Live and let live, please.

None of us have any right to question what gives other people ease and comfort at this time. This is not about you, your opinion, or your prejudice.

There's a time for expression of your sorts of feelings. Now is not it. Have a look at what's going on. Take a minute to consider how others might be feeling or coping, and then think of the inevitable long term damage emotionally, physically, financially. Then ask yourself whether it's appropriate to be ramming home your prejudices. I know people with no belief in anything who've turned to prayer. Sure you'll question why do that if you don't believe, but if it helps people cope then good luck to them. If ever there was a time to live and let live, it's now. That's a long winded way of saying wind your neck in.

Inevitable as bed space and ventilators are all in use. Hence the need to lock down and stop the spread outside of our homes.

The likes of the national trust opening places for free and encouraging visitors (many of them elderly) didn't help either. We've got thousands of acres of forests and woodland where we can walk in isolation, it's not hard if people exercise common sense.

Don't be a helmet mate. Political/religious etc views etc at this time are cheap and unnecessary. The worlds in crisis, go and wash the car or whatever.

F*ck. I can't believe the shear number of morons going on with life as normal. Absolutely mental. We've got an older teenager who flits between here and her bf home where various kids and adults come and ago, and in they in turn come into contact with various people. The wife and I have stopped working and going out only to quiet places and for food when necessary in local shops. The teenager can't see that her carrying on as she is exposes us. We've had to make the call and ask her to stay here or there, not both. It was a tough decision, and how people can't see that life has to change I don't know.

Let's assume you're right, what does it matter at this time? I doubt anyone apart from you gives a shiny f*ck about his personality / political views / past / allegations about him etc etc at this time. It's irrelevant. Get your head out of your arse and look at the bigger picture.

That makes huge sense but there are so few who have been tested and deemed recovered, and then there's the uncertainty over getting it again. Retrospective testing would help with the first part of that but we're not able to do that, at least yet.

F*ck me, you're priceless. If I'm poorly with this nasty sh+t, the last thing on my mind will be popping to the kitchen to knock up a nice risotto or bowl of pasta. I'd need just what I and my household need for the fortnight of isolation. No more, no less. Why you felt the need to "load up" I'll never understand but cos of that stance many people can't get what they need for a couple of days, let alone a fortnight. And as for "easy money", there's people out there losing businesses overnight or taking pay cuts. Have some class ffs.
