To be fair to The9 I have heard similar. The words used to me to describe Cortese were "control freak", although it was stressed that he keeps out of the football side. Whether that's true I don't know. It may also be that some people are more sensitive about firm leadership and hands on management than others. Personally, i couldn't give a monkeys if it's true. I am just pleased that we are being run effectively and with authority after years of mismanagement.

Posting lies is a different issue entirely. I come on here mainly to hear gossip and rumour. I take it for granted that I won't like all of what I read. I would never have a go at a poster for sharing something that I would rather not be true. In life not everything we are fed is palatable.

The timing of pricing and shirts all comes back to sponsorship. Any delay cementing the deal would hold things up. In any event, does the delay really matter? We can get season tickets and shirts in good time for the Season start so I really can't see the problem. I also don't get the lack of information point. We know about fixtures, prices, beer, tickets, shirts etc. All the info was shared on the os. I don't see the problem.

Spot on. A successful football club is self marketing. It just needs bean counters to set prices and punters to either pay or not.

If NA thinks that he has a future here get him back into the fold and on the charm offensive with the fans. If not, get him out of the place sharpish Personally, I would give him a chance. I find it surprising that he would have played tonight (ahead of players who are Part of our Future) if he is being moved on.

D I think he'll go with Hammond and cork to begin with, because of the opponents. I can see the formation changing during games, and from game to game though, especially if we don't get another striker in. The current squad has the personnel to play 442, a diamond, 4231, 433 and 451. I expect to see all of those formations used at differing points.

There's a good argument for any combination of our main 4 cm's. The best balance depends on the opposition and other factors such as whether we are looking to counter attack, play mostly through the middLe, push one or both full backs on etc etc Personally I wouldn't favour cork and Morgan in an old fashioned 442 against the better or more physical teams. I think hammond with one of the other two will give us a bit more steel and experience.
