No. I have said from June that our aim is consolidation. Our lack of decisiveness in the transfer market, even with the OXO money is further proof of our relatively modest ambitions this year. i think we will finish around 17th.

NA is I think very happy with the progress the team has made. he has probably been set realistic targets over a sensible period of time unlike the managers of leicester and w.ham who are under so much pressure that every setback gives them that look of being hunted !

Exactly what I have been saying for much of the summer. Perhaps our need for a CB is not as urgent as some people would like to think because our ambition is not as great as some would have assumed.

In the end not a disaster. Sounds like we made a poor start and some dodgy defending but we had the better 2nd half. Lessons to be learnt, and I am sure we will get our CB. Silver lining ? No longer being top takes the pressure of us. Brighton must be feeling good !
