Any chance of continuing the debate on Reed, rather than comparing w@nker wind-up merchants to STDs? To my mind, most jobs in football end in the sack. In my opinion, Reed is taking us for mugs with his PR bullsh*t.

But we've been rotating more since going out of Europe.

Going to have 16 groups of 3, with the top 2 going into the knockouts. What a load of sh*t.

He was the best defender in the Euros by a mile. How anyone can see the bright side of him leaving is beyond me. He is head and shoulders above anyone in the squad who play in his position.

At least he didn't virtually blackmail the club to get a move like your bumboy did.

Just looking at the net spend table. Spending more on players isn't going to bankrupt us, and will improve things on the pitch.

Didn't say you thought it was clever. Think you've got the wrong end of the stick.

Lowest net spenders in the division. Is that us being clever, or being tight? Personally, with the biggest TV deal in football history, I don't think it's particularly clever.

Take comfort from the fact he probably has a really sad life.

The fact that Les has to come out with this PR means he knows all is not well. The spin isn't going to impress anyone though.

Watch a bit closer. Plenty not giving it their all.

Decent footballers don't concede 5 goals every game. If the team have the right tactics and the players give 100% we would be ok. At the moment we have neither. I hate losing as much as the next man, but as long as we're giving it our all I can accept it.

Great player when used properly.

I'm not a glory-hunter, I can assure you of that. I am happy watching decent football with players giving it 100%. Where we finish is where we finish. We we are getting neither at the moment. I haven't been this p*ssed off with a manager since Ian Branfoot.

Because he's not a manager for the future. Les has got to start looking at himself on this issue. He took a chance with Puel, but it's not working.

What I don't understand is that Les has done a hell of a lot of good things for the club. He made a fantastic appointment in Koeman. Bit he is defending the indefensible here. This is a decent group of players that have played out of their skins for us in previous years. Are we saying the dressing room is wrong and Puel alone is right? I can't see it.

Koeman got us into Europe by finishing 6th in the league. Not a chance in hell of us getting anywhere near Europe next season under our car crash of a manager.

Cant see that. Black wasn't brought in as a translator. He goes way back with Puel and Reed seemed to rate him. It would have been considerably cheaper to just appoint a translator rather than Black.

Not sure about that. When I go, I hope it's quickly and not slow and drawn out.

Stood him in good stead for our European campaign didn't it. His management in those games was outstanding! Something I think we can all agree on. Les must be made up with him so far. Successful Euro campaign, fast-flowing attacking football ( the Southampton Way), an excited fanbase and a group of players who are firmly behind the manager he picked and would walk through walls for him. Great, isn't it? Don't think so.

They will spin the f*ck out of this to deflect away from the hopeless manager.

PR offensive from Reed to try and pacify the supporters. I am f*cking sick of us losing players. Fonte leaving in January would be ridiculous.
