A statement as in a written one, or a statement as in a few signings?
I can't see how perilous our financial position can be with the sale of AOC and full houses this season.
KGet some players in now and give them 2 weeks to settle in. We don't have the luxury of time. Currently we are crap, and the wheels are falling off what could still be a great season.
Barnard is perpetually injured. I am more concerned with getting players who will help us win games rather than sell shirts in Asia. I am not saying I'm against the signing of Lee, but it is a risk, and we don't really have the luxury of giving him to time to settle. He looks half decent in his league, but I would love to sign a proven goal scorer like Sharp as well.
We should be. Proven at this level, banging them in for a team bottom of the league, he has played for our manager before, and if to be believed has a release clause of just £1.8m which is peanuts compared to the fortune we received for Oxo.
Online is fine, but keep the shops shut on Boxing Day. The idiots who spend their Boxing Day pushing and queuing are stopping the shop workers from spending Christmas with their families.
If we aren't interested in Maynard or Sharp, I assume we're interested in better players then them. I would be disappointed if we signed the Coventry forward, I don't think he's as good as either Maynard or Sharp.
I think it is an absolute disgrace that the sales start on Boxing Day, and all the sad c*nts go.
Why can't they start on the 27th, and Boxing Day go back to what it used to be?
It would appear that Sharp and Maynard go into the same category as De Pedro, Bierhoff and Mido (ie. loads of speculation, 'done deal' posts, and actually f*ck all happened).
Can we consign them to the dustbin now.
Not having a go at you personally. It's just that I think that people are quick to slag off Guly, as the Northam did a bit yesterday, and a few on here have, without being objective. You're right about Morgan though, he was pure class yesterday.
