I wonder if getting rid of Reed and today's 'Ralphagram' is a posturing for the possible sale of the club by Gao. Am also hoping we don't employ a Les strategy to replacing him, ie the Art of Dither. Perhaps I'm hoping for too much.

I'd go along with the recognition of Les's contribution in his early days. Unfortunatley it started going downhill 2014/15 with the Alderweirald fiasco, as much as anything the media circus surrounding it, and afterwards. Credit where it's due though, wasn't Mitchell a Les appointment?

Why would he be a "fun appointment" ? Presumably on the reputation for a passing and pressing game but his record seems a mixed lot from reading about him. Depends who is selecting them though. This doesn't answer some of the other criticisms, not least of all fitness. Mentioned this to a Stoke fan today and his response was that this was an often commented on aspect during his time there, that his teams often appeared overrun easily after 65-70 minutes.

Depressing isn't it ? I remember the Branfoot protests they started tamely showing red cards when he came out of the tunnel then escalated; in the car park after the matches, QPR & Port Vale especially were quite lively. I was in my 30's then so a lot more vocal and agile, but the crowd was made up of across the ages including lots of grey haired blokes who you probably wouldn't expect to be involved in such shenanigans . So what's gone wrong ? I've done my bit and am now (nearly) one of the grey heads. It's the younger generation who aren't there , all the cyber supporters, who'd rather pose around doing an interview with one of their mates for Youtube, or a "vlog" ... Hope they prove me wrong.

Well it's like this Mr Gao, I know Phil Brown would be well up for the job, but Swindon can be buggers to deal with, although I reckon I might be able to get his release for £5m compo.... and he'll come no problem, five year deal and four of his his back room staff. That'll mean another goalkeeping coach but can't have enough of them in my book....Ross & I have tracked him for years...
