  1. And his next headline making excuse will be that he's down to the bare bones...
  2. Won't happpen will it ? Kane has been one of their few real success stories this season. Their fans would be in uproar if they sold him. The next thing we'll read in the papers is how Poch, having not wanted to play him, has brought him on and given him his chance as he did with Shaw, JWP et al (conveniently forgetting it was NA who gave them debuts and showed faith in them first).
  3. Is this a clue ? "Love it", as in "absolutely love it", so it could be something Keeganesque ? If so, perfect.
  4. Good option. Celtic fans put a good tribute toVW up , "Kenya feel the force.." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJrarMZIG7I Not sure that this 1970's disco effort will translate into a stadium chant though.
  5. More likely just another mouth almighty, gobby London tw^t. Could be a vacancy for the 'PL Gobby London Twa^t' coming up soon , once 'Arry gets the push. Sherwood is well suited for the position.
  6. No thank you. But thanks for asking anyway. And sorry you've ended up with him. I think he played for Brighton some years ago, and was pretty crap there if I remember correctly.
  7. and then it will be in Spanish
  8. My comment was intended as a p1ss take.
  9. He's no longer in Brighton you realise ?
  10. Any joy on this yesterday, Saint Lard ?
  11. As did yesterday.
  12. Better if it was parked at Portsmouth Central
  13. 'Arry does sound like the Alf Garnett of football management...
  14. On our last visit to the club shop I didn't see any of the retro shirts on display ( or at least not from the Keegan era that caught my eye).
  15. It really should be easy you'd have thought.
  16. The Wales home kit looks familiar..... No thanks
  17. Did he ever meet Cortese ? If so, what stories to tell ? Who was the biggest p1ss artist at the club during the Alehouse days ?
  18. Ridiculous idea, bit of a naan starter as far as I'm concerned.
  19. If I had to nominate a player just for a 'lol factor',then 'Chicken George' would be on the bench for that.
  20. Niemi Golac - McGrath - Steele - Dennis Schneiderlin - Ball - Armstrong Channon - Davies - Le Tiss Subs : Flowers, Gabriel, Peach, O'Neil, Williams, Fisher, Lambert Schneiderlin shades it ahead of Williams as I think there is greater potential in him.Just hope he does not do a 'Williams' and p!ss off to North London. Honourable mentions to Paine, and Michael Svenson. Hugh Fisher just has to be a sub for his part in the 1976 Cup success, from the bench.
  21. Some great options there, y ou're obviously of the same vintage as me.
  22. Yes it was. What does 1984 mean to most on here ? George Orwell ? Or Steve Moran, last minute winner in the FA Cup Fourth round ?
  23. or is it a long overdue announcement re their 70,000 all seater amphibious aqua-stadium
  24. Yes,I think we heard a few strains of this : Someone obviously has a good memory to dig this out of the 1970's archives From what I could hear it was: oh,ho ho he's magic, you know Graziano...
  25. an interesting stat, but did he score against us for Burnley ?
