  3. Perhaps he reads the crticism of Forster on here

  5. Agree with this, Kane was scoring in the Europa League (which Poch does not want to be in) and Poch was 'shamed' into playing him in the league. But of course, Poch is now the new'Arry in being personally responsible for every young player at spurs as he was with us.
  6. A similar thought to that for him, are they consulted over the kit change, and how prominent their logo will be against it ? Or are any assurances given on entering into the sposorship ?

  9. Had marginally warmed to Murray in the past year or so - perhaps the BBC 'campaign' of making him seem more human was working - but after his 'yes', b0ll0cks to him, he can take his support from north of their border. Although I don't think either he or his mother are likely to take permanent residence there any time soon and help their taxes support their 'country' ( they're happy to leave that to those south of the border). Well done Djokovic.
  10. I thought that last Saturday, but if today was a(nother) wake up call, its perhaps a bit late. Striker needed. And I still maintain if we're really serious about qualifying for Europe ( CL or EL) then a reliable back up GK is also required.Imagine the last few matches if we have to rely on KD or PG. Plus some competition for Forster might make him up his game a fraction.
  11. Look at it as an opportunity for Targett.
  12. Didn't go today, so can't really comment on specifics, but for all his extra energy and dynanism he adds, Long is usually as guilty as the rest in offering little goal threat as a rule. Probably not since the Palace match, all of eight days ago.
  13. Ideal relacement for Gaston then.
  14. Found this after someone posted a link re Djuricic http://outsideoftheboot.com/2015/01/27/scout-report-harrison-reed/
  15. What have Feyenoord done to deserve that ?
  16. Latvian Michael Owen ?

  18. Disappointed he's left, but understand his reasons. Always seemed a 'team' player, and a good one to have in the dressing room. Amongst his contributions on the pitch,I think he was an integral part of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gvOhEhD6SQ Southampton FC - the greatest curling team the (football) world has ever seen. Wish him well at Swansea.
  19. Agree. Think we might very well regret this next season, when as expected we lose a couple of other players.
  20. Thankfully we won't have to, although ITV had already made that decision for us ahead of today's announcement.
  21. This is key for me, Cork should certainly be retained as we plan for next season knowing that we will lose at least one of our key mf players. For all the hype about JWP and Reed, Cork remains a more reliable if unspectacular option.
  22. I was there. One of the epic days of following Saints.
  23. But even during his 'peak' form at SC Heerenveen he scored 20 goals in 99 appearances, just under 1 goal in 5 matches. Long was doubted when he joined as his record was c 1 in 4. If we do sign this Durex fella, then it won't be for his scoring record alone. Looks a decent prospect - albeit on youtube - and I'll bow to Feyenoord's knowledge of him, but he is not going to be a stand in for Pelle if we're looking for a like for like. Agree, need another centre forward type, not all nifty footwork ( "all fart and no sh!t " as someone posted on here once).
