  1. Never in doubt.
  2. Has he been sidelined much at Spurs ?
  3. I think Alderweirald is marginally the better defender, but VVD the better player who offers more in terms of skill, passing, and as a goalscoring threat (although TA has also pooped up with a few for Spurs). VVD has the grater potential though.* *not sure he'll be with us at that time though.

  5. How often do ww win with "goals to spare", especially away from home? Okay Sundrland & Villa at home last season were pretty exceptional but thoses games aside our tendency is 45 minutes domination, possibly a single goal to show for it, before retreating to regret missed opportunities. I'm hoping that Charlie Austin changes that of course.
  6. A rusty sherriffs badge that is..
  7. I expect he'll be on Klopp's exit list at the end of the season.
  8. Enjoyed that.... tough sh!t Nivea man.

  10. Perhaps Wenger ought to look at the training/recovery regimes in place there but thats his problem. Didn't we once have an injury prevention specialist on the books who p!ssed of to Man Utd ? Was he ever replaced ?

  13. Don't know the full story having only heard the headline news on the radio yesterday, but it strike me that possibly the BBC want to be seen to have taken some action - albeit too little, and forty years too late.
  14. After he left us though presumably ?
  15. Boris now throws his support to the leave campaign. This has now taken on an intersting twist to liven up the next few months.
  16. I would not want us to lose te Leicester game. If at the end of the season though a defeat at Leicester deprived spurs of the title then it would - in hindsight- be a lot more palatable. Shall we drop points at Bournemouth as well while we're at it to help them stay up ?
  17. Of course it will, but I expect Cameron will still be full of what a good deal he negotiated...

  19. Yeovil have had some amazing and famous results in their time, and are known as great cup fighters. I bet todays point at home to the bestest south coastiest team in history is right up there. Especially as they faced an onslaught from 10 giants in the last few minutes against the backdrop of the 50,000 or so pompeyfaithfull who were backing them.

  22. View on the proposals : looking at making it a midweek competition - no 3round Saturday is one of the best days fixtures to look forward to, especially for smaller clubs (even allowing for that 'saturday' to be 3rd round weekend now) maybe seeding sides (dont like that one) - outrageous, might as well give up if they do that No replays - totally diasgree, its a great incentive to smaller clubs to get them back to our place, or a lucrative away tie (look at Exeter this season). No extra time in replays if they remain (never got why extra time was allowed in a replay) - don't see why not personally, extra time is part of Cup folklore Champions league spot to the FA cup winners at the expense of 4th place - indifferent to that to be honest, and what happens when we inevitably reduce to three places for automatic qualification ? Will the 'vested interests' at the heart of this accept only two guarenteed places for two of the big clubs ? Agree with lickierambert that the semi-finals should go back to neutral venues other than Wembley.

  25. Pleased to read that. I was getting worried that it was just me with an irrational hate of them
