Any news/suggestions of a pitch inspection ? About to set off from Glos, 'Sods Law' we'll be somewhere south of Newbury or Winchester before hearing.

Although the FA Cup does not have the same aura it had in the 60's & 70's it is still a major domestic trophy to win in my book (probably an age thing I know). There are a number of reasons it has fallen in significance, largely the media and its saturation coverage removing some of the excitement. But what do supporters talk about most from WGS reign at the club, FA Cup final, finishing 8th that season, or the fact we were briefly 4th in December of that year ? It seems a pity NC and MP might have abandoned this cup, if indeed they have. Going out of the cup will leave a very empty season remaining where we most likely play out the rest of the season to see if we can finish 7th or 8th.

Agree with you, especially the bit in bold. Good luck to him wherever he goes (with one or two exceptions perhaps).

I'm not sure they can convert a season long loan into a permanent move until the loan has expired can they ?
-
Before Christmas the question was will we get MP on an extended contract to prevent him from going to Spurs, yet the discussion has now moved to this !

Mistake-a-game player in my view, but on reflection should perhaps be okay for a match v (possibly a weakened) Burnley side at home.

For me the FA Cup is definitely worth going all out for, although this has to be balanced against resting tired first teamers after busy schedules., and giving youngsters/others game time. Why won't we ? Subject of course to reasonable draws. I'd keep those in bold as far from the first team as possible. It would not surprise me to see Gallagher start this though, possibly alongside Rodriguez. As for Burnley, I suspect they'll play a weakened side.

Are we one of the hardest teams to beat in the league?
Badger replied to Tomobz's topic in The Saints
Apparently not. Although with a full and injury free first team the situation is different. As we are currently 9th, did we seriously expect better back in August ? -
What is this ? Smurfs on tour, or just a couple of skate retards on a day out in the community ?

Have to say that as the "obligatory youtube" compilation that is pretty impressive. If NC could put that in the 'pre-transfer pack' we could probably flog him for £10m. But as someone else commented a few weeks ago it is a shame he hasn't scored in the Premiership for us given his contribution over the last three years. Hope he gets the chance.

Or we could all drive to Ottery's and go from there.... Not sure about the suggestion of "via Derby Road " though.

Karen Brady ??? Why ?

No other options, certainly not on the bench today anyway. Osvaldo has disappeared off the face of the planet it seems, so that leaves Tadanari Lee, Lee Barnard or a recall and squad place for Billy S...

That is not even debateable, it's clear cut, he even seems to wave at the ball in some limp fashion as it sails past. Only question is where was ref Mark C^nttenburg stood in relation to this ?

They've taken the Dell's dugouts to Palestine! :p

Is he a proper fan though ? Surely he needs a red wig, red and white chequered trousers, and a bell to show his undying fanaticism and then he'd be on MOTD every week. -
My invisible friend supports Man City and reckoned Antonio was the best winger - with Reading connections - since Michael Gilkes.

yes, I'll never forget the odious midget Heath scoring, and the ****s on the pitch after the match.

In many ways the off field antics, and posturing by Tan and MM, play into MM's hands - he can leave with his stock high, and most feeling he's been unjustly dismissed, which is interesting to compare with what King Cornelius states. After today MM has two clubs I expect will be interested in speaking with him, Norwich and West Ham. As for Cardiff, sorry KC but not sure I'd want to rely on Tan involved in the selection of a new manager. Good luck to you though.

For the sake of everyone who was at Highbury in 1984 - we must beat these c^nts.

Just read he's out for 6 weeks. Better close the thread. Cassilas it is then.

Just don't think of Tranmere....

A point away with Gazzaniga and Yoshida in the side would be acceptable.

Is that a convenient injury, to keep him "safe" for the opening of the window ?
