  1. Badger

    Not that it will

Phil Brown, Tommy Widdrington... the list is endless.
  2. ..and she'd probably beat Cortese or his Mrs in a 'bake off' as well don't forget.
  3. Broke his leg -for the second time that season - in a reserve match a few days later whilst trying to build his fitness for the final.
  4. No comparison is there ? I have not been a supporter of NC all along the way, but Christ alive, he has made a positive impact, and keeps his rants private. Putting it in context, I'd take Rupert back, ahead of a c^nt like Tan.
  5. Many people forget he was actually a good and committed midfield player before breaking his league twice in the same season. Poor bastard never really recovered from that mentally to be the same player for us again. Later performances earned him the name De Crap etc, but it was a shame we lost the player with a bit more bite when we did in 2003.
  6. Should have stayed behind to help clean the coach then, you might have been bestest mates now.
  7. Interestingly though, one of their forums have a discussion about Stoke signing Forster from Celtic as a replacement for Begovic based on a wild rumour type article.
  8. Although we may be interested this is unlikely to happen, as even if we make a bid, the player may hold out for a stronger prospect of Champions League football. Still a little more realistic than the Casillas rumour last week though.
  9. I thought £8m - £10m was the figure bandied about in the summer. £15m seems too much to me , but if we are prepared to spend £12m on Wanyama , and similar on Osvaldo, we probably would also be willing to shell it out on a GK who could be with us for years to come.
  10. Agree, I think Rupert got it right about them... On the subject of which .. this is a record Rupert would have been proud of.
  11. Providing MP does not give them a week off, then go on holiday himself, then I'm not worried.
  12. Probably. In truth his reputation was intact at skates as everyone knew he had no prospect of any success there so it was just a matter of being dignified in defeat. What followed was a fiasco. I doubt he'd feature high on the WBA wishlist to begin with, but as one or two of those give it a wide berth, they may come down to making a 'Wigley' type appointment, and 'Appy' may them feature.
  13. Christ. spurs have some vile thick c^nts following them don't they ? http://metro.co.uk/2013/12/15/spurs-fans-abuse-new-york-woman-ashley-van-buren-instead-of-andre-villas-boas-after-liverpool-defeat-4231867/
  14. There's a man who might claim to have unfinished business around the streets of North London. Or perhaps Avram Grunt, probably a perfect fit for spurs.
  15. Where is he "officially" meant to be these days ?
  16. Someone who knows the club probably. Jol/Hoddle & George Graham all immediately available.
  17. Nothing official though re AVB.
  18. Now there is an interesting name to come out of all this. Was highly thought of at WBA before he set off for the skates. They wouldn't be so daft would they ?
  19. I think The9 went to yesterday's game to watch Newport so he might be able to update you on that one. In all likelihood 90% of those attending might be oblivious to it, as most probably are not cyber dwellers.
  20. Seldom though do ambitious chief execs, or chairman allow a manager or coach the time to fulfil that potential though do they ?
  21. What's Glenn up to these days ?
  22. perhaps they'll appoint Burley...
  23. someone mentioned Karl Darlow the other day, now found a link: http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/robby.snead/551609/nottingham-forest-keeper-karl-darlow-emerges-as-target-of-west-brom-and-Southampton Probably an unreliable source though.
