Clyne is an option that intrigues me in so far as so highly rated, and apparently sought after, but still to sign anywhere. Why ? Not as good as he and his agent think, or too high demands ?
Best wishes Whitey.
And thank you for the openness of your original post; a kick up the arse for many of us to reflect on our lifestyles.
So, wishing you a speedy recovery and in best traditions of this board:
WOOT for Whitey, and
WIFW !
Better still if it's Sweden's second strip - blue with yellow sash. But I doubt it will be,as we have obviously become this years dumping ground for the Umbro pinstripe range.
It may look "classy" and well packaged, but it does NOT look or scream "Saints" .
It looks more like a Bristol City, or a Swindon Town attempt to emulate a bigger club. I had hoped we might already be above such a move.
Good, lets hope they manage to get one right. There certainly won't be any cash from the badger household on the home strip for either of my young Saints fans here.
It certainly rivals the mid 80's 'Steve Zodiac' and the Pony tick, although to be fair to Pony at least they attempted something akin to stripes.
The away kit, just looks like some daft c^nt at UMbro or St Mary's forgot to "save" the design before submitting the template back.
