Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints
Badger replied to Somewhere In Northam's topic in The Saints
Totally agree,But very few in the Ball or Case mould are around or available nowadays ie someone who can dictate or control the game. Obviously not old enough to remember Ball or Case ? -
Infact I think Danny Wallace may also have performed in the same manner in a 4-4 draw v Norwich before a move to the mancs.

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints
Badger replied to Somewhere In Northam's topic in The Saints
Interpretation as : Southampton have paid a generous sum for a player who never settled at Plymouth and wanted to move closer to London;MK Dons have done what they've been told because the player did not want to stay there.. Cortese is the top man, agreed. Coleman remains, in my humble view, a whining Welsh spastic. And as said earlier about Incey-wincey at MK, he can 'Foxtrot Oscar'. Ditto - Ranson at Lavatory City. -
..and as such a player,he might of course play out of his skin just before the deadline, scoring two goals in a superhuman performance*,to secure (either a lucrative contract) or move *otherwise known as a Saganowski move.

We have a week to build on this performance and improve for the next game!!! COYR

And no release of Gobern to MK.So all in all its a resounding 'Foxtrot Oscar' type of message to Icey-Wincey. Just make sure we beat the bastards in the semi second leg. -
I would not be surprised if Cortese has another card up his sleeve..such as Arrfield or the Crawley striker.

Hope for Stock but expect Puncheon.
-
From www.someskatet^tonline: I wonder if Sandra's husband might in any way be related to 'agent Redknapp' who also had a son called Jamie.
-
Good.On no account do I expect us to be buggered about by a no marks club such as MK.If we want to sign Puncheon from Plymouth we can do so in the summer. Danns is probably the more combatitive type of player that we need. Although I'd still prefer Stock.

If he's out of contract then I didn't think that rule applied.
-
If I'm honest I agree with you.

During one of pompey's previous financial crisis' -possibly before Mandik- it was reported players were washing their own kit.Is it time to post them some persil again ?

Definitely timely that song and well worth revisiting.
-
That is a rather pathetic response and cowardly thing to do. At least put the pictures on youtube for everyone to enjoy.

This makes amusing reading about the Liebherr purchase : http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=157236 Wonder who is laughing now.
-
Storrie like Ridsdale will probably walk away and into another job in football. I wasn't aware of their attack on Liebherr, where did that come from ?
-
Definitely a habit, and yes it does bring a sense of nostalgia with it. I no longer save them although the youngsters are starting their collections off so it will be good for them to look back in years to come as I have done in my 1960's,70's and onwards collection. Shame the Football League Review went though, that could sometimes be a good prematch read.

Perhaps your mate is taking the p!ss. Was he recommended by Mr Cholmondely-Warner ?
-
I suspect you will be proved right here, and I also feel we will regret Patterson's departure in a couple of seasons.

I have been thinking along these lines also. When SMS was under construction, possibly even in theplanning stages, the Police were involved in discussions over the away area, and their control room sited immediately above it. Do they now have a new control room,or just invest in some high power binoculars?

Showing your age...or a good memory! Sorry can't remember which film it was in but can picture and hear the hapless Norm shouting the name.
-
loan or permanent ? Personally I'd be reluctant to release him permanently at this stage of his career before we can really see what he is capable of.A year loan to Torquay or similar would be the best option.

Interesting to read that MK might want a Saints player in return for freeing Puncheon from his deal with them. Wonder if they would take Pulis and Forecast.
