Was there a suggestion he was working for Saints now then ?

DC Webb on The Bill.

I follow your logic and the appointment of someone possibly WGS is plausible. My concern though is whether such an appointment would sit comfortably with AP.Would he not feel uneasy at having a high profile person sitting between him and the board ? As someone wrote on another thread a few weeks ago,the DOF role has worked well at Reading, because very few people have heard of Nicky Hammond .This has enabled their manager to manage without being inhibited by someone elses shadow. As good as WGS was for us until 2003 our future is, for the timebeing anyway, in AP's hands.

Any photos of the directors box today ?

I remember that incident in the mid-late 70's.I think the supporters killed all lived in Basingstoke. (Which might go full circle in reference to the above questions about what has Basingstoke got to do with it.)
-
Thought this thread might be about Jody Craddock, experienced CB last known at Wolves.Don't know where he is now.
-
The League have however stated that Jaidi's availability to play for us and the work permit issue are inextricably linked.
-
They however, unlike us will be able to pay a ridiculous salary to more than compensate for sitting on his arse without making the first team. The best we might hope for is a loan after Sir Alex or whoever has signed him.
-
Doubt it. And you can rest assured Millwall will not allow him to leave/play on Saturday anyway.
-
I suspect that the view might be there are enough suitably qualified players from UK and EU who might match the criteria to play at that level without the need to import someone.

I'm pleased that the Football League will be covered on BBC this season as it will spare us ITV's dreadful 'The Chamionsh1t'. Does anybody know what format the BBC coverage will take, ie live matches / highlights screening ? I notice WBA V Newcastle is live on BBC1 on Saturday, and although that is a larger draw than L1 to many, I can't believe that at some stage Saints, as the 'fallen giants' ,would not be an attractive proposition to them. Can we expect fixtures to be transferred to Sunday or Monday night if selected for broadcast ?
-
Could be a different proposition though if Pardew is allowed to select the players he wants rather than having a couple with ego's - no matter how talented - just foisted on him.

Is this the same Murty who signed earlier this morning ? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15579

So why do only some farts smell like eggs ?

Don't forget : Southampton FC is now a 'Rupert-free Zone'.

Not a nice name for a dog.But if we are going down that route, what about 'Spazza','Spazimodo','Spastic' or 'Scope' ?
-
Or Alistair Dias.Or,why not call him Pinnacle ? Or,Tony, or Fialka ?
-
Thats not to say the name wasn't just 'borrowed' of course.

googled : https://secure.creditgate.com/search/search.aspx?directorsurname=Dias&directorfirstname=Alistair&searchby=postcode&AdditionalSearch=W13+8HX&IsDirectorSearch=1 Click for Advanced Search Please click on the selected name to see the available reports: ALISTAIR JEREMY DIAS EALING W13 8

Were the backers named in that proposal ? Was the conversation with MLT before or after the Fialka fiasco ? I was staggered when Fialka was wheeled out, what on earth was Lynam thinking of putting that berk forward as our potential saviour ?At that point Pinnacle's remaining credibility - MLT or not - hit the rocks.
-
Yes,exactly. I thought this name was dreamt up by someone on here.So does this clown really exist ? I still find it incredible that Pinnacle were able to get past the 'proof of funds' stage.Once that was accomplished then there would be no reason for Fry not to assume they could proceed although the Crouch intervention clearly was a warning sign.

Say you want to spend the entire day waiting news of a Saints new signing. Failing that then go along with some the above comments,ie don't want to spend the day in a place full of benders,
-
Good play-off semi then ?
-
Wasn't he the subject of a Scots disco song a few years ago ? Murdoch on the dancefloor ? As we seem to know f^ck all about him,it seems less likely that anyone can name any gems our new scout has unearthed. But there is no telling the info some on here can come up with.

Norwich and Leeds are the most obvious contenders as I see it. I also think Huddersfield will do well as they seem to have strengthened.
