Lisbie is a bit of a poor mans Peter Crouch in that for several years he was much maligned by supporters of clubs he played for.Think one club,either Palace or Charlton - possibly even Wimbledon,he has been around that long - had T-shirts of "I've seen Lisbie score" made. There is no other Crouch comparison though and I'm not sure what Lisbie would offer us.

Christ,£800,00 does not seem unreasonable for a player who over the last two seasons has been 'talked of' in the £1m plus range,some reports (admittedly not a sound source of valuation) at £2M. If anything I suspect it could be the structure of the deal - ie £upfront,add ons after promotion,and even Gilletts value - that might be an issue.

All three of them should share the blame for that.None of them wanted to take responsibility or make a tackle.

I think that summarises him,and my concerns over his reliability,he goes to pieces easily. Don't think he will be to be honest.I expect an investment in a quality keeper in the summer .
