The problem with Cameron’s “re negotiation” was nobody believed for one nano second that he’d campaign to leave if he didn’t get a good deal. Even he didn’t believe it, thinking he could do a Harold Wilson and come back with **** all, but spin it as a major reform. The EU never believed it, and thought the vote was in the bag anyway. They didn’t even bother with the pretence of pretending he’d negotiated a decent deal. His incompetence & complacency cost Leave the referendum , not some words on a bus. You can’t go round pretending to be a Euro sceptic stating without reform you will vote leave and then campaign passionately for remaining, not when you’ve got **** all reform. I’ve edited it for you. Reginald Maudling, was basically a crock, and his handling of NI a complete shambles. Jacqui Smith later admitted herself that she was under qualified for the job, fiddled her expenses, lied about it and also charged that tax payers for her porno movies. Course a draw helps us. Obviously a win is better, but to say a draw doesn’t really help is nonsense. Everton’s recent form is good, a draw up there will be a pretty decent result bearing in mind Huddersfield’s fixtures. If we go for it with our defence, I dread to think what’ll happen. How about Tadic calling for Tadic to stay on even if we go down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We’d be 3 points above them, with at least 9 goal better difference. Bearing a 9 goal swing, we’d be safe. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’d fancy Huddersfield home to Arsenal, even if it is Wengers last game. They’ve won 3 away games all season, since the turn of the year they’ve lost at Bournemouth, Swansea, Brighton and Newcastle. They’ve picked up 0 points in 2018, having only played Spurs of the top 5 in that period. They’ve scored less goals than WBA on the road. They’re bottle jobs, and Wengers last game ain’t going to change that. We’ll need 6 points to top them imo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Saints 2 Boscombe 1 - Match and Reactions
Lord Duckhunter replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
God, at least I know my hearts ok, because that last 5 mins nearly gave me a cardiac. Tadic, MoTM. Anyone who picks anyone else is clueless. The keeper played well, as did Lemina. The back 3, particularly Wes, are ****ing woeful, but luckily so were there’s, bar Ake. **** me, it seems like an age since we actually hung on to something. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Eddie Howe was in Poole maternity hospital at 1030 last night, so hopefully his minds on something else. My old lady spoke to him, but like an idiot didn’t ask what he was doing there, or anything about today Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

2004/05 were bottle jobs. They Shiite their pants at Fratton, the whole ****ing lot of them. The most cowardly performance I’ve seen in 40 years of watching. I wouldn’t have any of them in my combined 11, none. That day finished the lot of them for me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It’s not been legendary since they knocked down the twin towers. All this pony about Wembley, is just that, pony. It’s not the stadium that the Matthews final was played in, or the World Cup or 76 come to that. Horrendous location, soulless expensive rip off joint. Selling it to yank is a fitting tribute the the shortsightedness and greed of the FA. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You miss read it, or I didn’t explain myself properly. The 2 referee pundits said that they didn’t think it should be a foul, but 9 times out of 10 a challenge on the keeper like that , results in one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I suggest you subscribe to The Ref show podcast before spouting conspiracy theories. It’s ex referees & mangers analysing the weekends decisions and explaining the laws., sounds boring but it’s really not and it helps you understand why certain things happen. It is 100% not, ex refs sticking up for refs, they are quite critical at times. Their view on the incident. Firstly, it wasn’t a foul, but would be given 9 times out of 10 in any game. Go near the keeper, it’s a foul in the modern game. As for VAR, Mark Halsey who blogged the game for them claimed Atkinson blew his whistle before the keeper carried the ball over the line, therefore it wasn’t a disallowed goal, which could be reviewed, but a subjective foul, which can’t be. Your example was different, you say in your Liverpool example that it wasn’t seen by the ref on the pitch. Atkinson did see something as he gave a foul, you’re comparing different scenarios. If the ref sees it, decides its a foul, that’s it end of. Whether the VAR assistant agrees or not is irrelevant. Had Atkinson not seen a foul, let play run on then the VAR assistant would get involved. He would then advise the ref on pitch “goal” or “foul on keeper”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There’s no probably about it, his best days were behind him. We saw how woeful he was at West Ham . I don’t think we choose to get rid, more he was pushing for a move, thinking he was going to Utd. Don’t think he’d make a blind bit of difference to our defensive woes if he was still here. It’s incredibly easy for Waldorf & Saddler (Merrington & Blackmore) to moan on and on every week, aided and abetted by people texting in, most of whom have only listened to their biased commentary in the first place, because their sides never have to play. Their tactics, never get put to the test. The punditry is absolutely awful, and they can’t even get basic facts, like how many points from safety we are, right. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
