  1. I agree totally. Watched on a stream and then listened to Merrington droning on about "going for it". I thought it was pretty much a must win, but as the game progressed I could understand what Hughes was doing. We've shipped 3 in our last 4 games and had we "gone for it", would have probably shipped a couple tonight. Clearly it makes it tougher as it pretty much takes everyone bar Swansea out of the equation. But, we still go there and we're one more point nearer them. Fingers crossed they don't get anything from City. Chelsea going to within 5 points of Spurs tonight makes their home game against them a little bit tougher. We're clearly going to have to go and win at Swansea, that's the game we can't sit and accept a 0-0, tonight as it panned out, I felt we had to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Sky stating they’re playing 3-4-1-2, left back playing left of the back 3, 2 of the wingers are the wing backs and one in the 10 role. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Amended for you again. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Their performances Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Correct. Although Saints need to build from the back, whilst playing entertaining football. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. These players should be capable of winning at Leicester (when they've nothing to play for ) and Boscombe at home. The key is Hughes getting them to forget what's gone before. Had our start of the season been Leicester A, Boscombe H, Everton A & Swansea A, I bet most people would have said 6 or 7 points. Of course the past 8 months will have affected them, but then Everton & Leicester would be going full pelt at the start of the season. I agree, it's doubtful we're man enough to pull this off. But I bet Palace, Boscombe, Weat Ham and Newcastle could. If you take into account who is playing for what , our fixtures aren't that hard. Swanseas could be, provided we do our bit tonight and next weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Let's hope their players are as complacent as you are. Although the point I was making wasn't whether they're safe or not, it was us going into the Everton game only 4 points behind them, with a game in hand. This then changes the whole nature of their home game against Swansea, provided Swansea haven't beaten City or Chelsea. They will need to win it, which in turn does us a favour. Swansea could then be facing a run of fixtures City, Chelsea, Bournemouth away (needing a win to be safe), then us ( who if my scenario plays out will have won at least 2 out of 3 games). 8. Amended for you. First mentioned in a Telegraph interview in 2012. May said: “The aim is to create, here in Britain, a really hostile environment for illegal immigrants”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. They’ve got us, Swansea home & Burnley away left. We need to beat them to ramp up the pressure and make Boscombe V Swansea game a real relegation battle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. My mate said earlier, "you do realise this lot could end up legends at the club". **** me, imagine that, mincing through the season then win 5 games at the arse end of it to stay up and win the cup. **** me, what they've put me through this season I think I'd boo them during the open top bus ride Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So Boscombe losing tonight gives us another pathway clear. Win our next 2 and we're 4 points behind them with a game in hand going into Everton. Who do they play that day? Swansea. I just hope our useless bunch of cretins, the most gutless twts I've had the misfortune of watching, the most underachieving side in my lifetime, realise that they can somehow unbelievably and underserved, get out of this. Leicester away and Boscombe at home, FFS they're not that hard fixtures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I think he’ll get lucky & some mug will believe he’s poor form is a symptom of us being awful this season. The reality is he’s one of the major contributors to it, but football is warped, he’ll get a club. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Ericsson doing a great JWP impression with that last min corner, when it matters he dollied it up for a simple catch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Instead of comparing Vic with Cork people should compare the work Knockaert’s done tonight with Tadic & Boufal’s pathetic efforts most games Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. And he was right. First season down they were 3rd, next season they won the thing. They then beat Liverpool to win The charity shield at the start of the following season. So I don’t quite get the point you’re making. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Huddersfield lost 4 league in a row at the end of jan beginning of Feb and then won 2 out of the next 3. If we win 2 out of the next 3 chances are we’ll go into the Swansea game above them (bearing in mind their fixtures). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. We played Arsenal away, and Chelsea at home. The next placed team had WBA away & Everton home. Only dropping 2 points further behind them is a **** up on their part. Let’s see how many they get from city away & Chelsea home. You do realise that all the teams over the years that escape relegation end up with a better win ratio right at the death than they had done previously. If they didn’t, anyone in bottom 3 in April would go down. History suggests this isn’t the case. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Well the players that "hated" Puel certainly let themselves down when we faced Leicester earlier in the season. But of course, that wasn't their fault it was the shiete manager. Let's see what they do Thurs under a different one. Let's see when I really matters, surely the threat of relegation plus the hatred of Puel should mean they come flying out of the traps, absolutely determined to prove a point. 19. What a crock of pony. There's been nothing out of the club about Bertrand. People are making their own minds up. It's not some anti Bertrand PR campaign run by that Machiavellian villain Leslie Reed. It's purely down to his demeanour and average performances Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Not with our useless squad you can't Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. **** me, we've got a load of wet fannies supporting us. Plenty of sides have come back from worse positions than this over the years. Since Hughes took over we've had a good win at Wigan, the Wigan that beat Man C. We've been woeful at West Ham and have had 2 fighting performances against top 6 sides. If people accept that Swansea won't get anything at City, then it's in our hands. It doesn't matter how poor we've been, it's a 5 game season now. For all the negative posts about the past 2 games, Swansea had WBA away & Everton at home and gained 2 points. They've now got City & Chelsea, time to make them pay. 22. Careful what you wish for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It's exciting end to end stuff, far better than the 0-0 draws this time last year at home. People pay good money, they wanted entertainment man. 8th was boring, Claude was boring. We're banging them in for fun now. Yeah, go Saints Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It could well be. Swansea don’t play 5:30pm the day we play Boscombe. They’ve got City away at the weekend, so if we beat Leicester they’ll go into that 2 points ahead of us. Beat Leicester & I can see a pathway out of this. Back to back wins against them & Boscombe is surely not beyond us. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. God, do you really believe this pony. I won’t make the obvious remark that chicks don’t know much about football, but comments like this don’t really help the feminist cause. You’re seriously trying to say that, knowing Giroud had signed for Chelsea we then contacted his ex club to enquire about buying him . It doesn’t make sense. Do you really believe we had any chance of singing him? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
