  1. Perhaps Gao pulled the wool over her eyes. If it was a deliberate act of pulling her money out for profit and not giving a Shiite, why retain 20%. What sort of business person would hang around if they felt that it could go tits up. Had this deal come within 6 months of her fathers passing, then people may have a point. The fact is she’s been a fantastic owner from that day till she sold her majority stake. She deserves the benefit of any doubt going. She’s earnt that benefit 10 times over. 2. What do people think, there’s a Jack Walker like Saints fan going to buy us. The simple fact is that every single owner we’re ever going to have in the modern game will be out solely to make money. As money making owners go Kat Liebher was a bloody decent owner , we could of had a lot worse. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. Gab Marcotti discussed release clauses on his podcast. They are basically the player buying out his contract . There's a case in china at the moment . The Chinese government have imposed a 100% tax on foreign players worth over £5 million to clamp down on capital flight. A club have paid millions for a spainish player by meeting his release clause but are claiming they've paid nothing as he was a free agent. Fifa have agreed that he's bought out his own contract, and it's now down to the Chinese authorities to determine whether bunging the player the release money is subject to this tax. Fifa have accepted they've paid £0 for him and he's a free agent. How does this relate to us? Well clearly release clauses are upfront payments and it's up to the selling club to agree to change this. I doubt many clubs would cough up £35 million in one lump sum, certainly not us. 7. Booing a 0-0 draw against Utd (a game where we missed a peno ) was a low for me. I left the ground thinking "who the hell do we think we are". The bloke would have needed to hit the ground running this season, that's for sure. Anyway, it's history. The important thing is to get behind the team now and leave the inquests till the summer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have a season ticket and I didn’t think it was right. Away performances showed there was something to work on, as was his work with some of the younger players. I thought he had an average squad of players to work with and people are absolutely deluding themselves if they thought we could get anywhere near the top 6. I thought some of the names thrown about as a replacement were fanciful and took the line better the devil you know. However my main concern with sacking him is the message it sent out and the knock on effect this will have for the future. Whether people like it or not sacking him was seen as madness by the outside football world, including his fellow managers. Puel, thinking he was safe in his job, may have made some decisions based on the long term interests of the club. Jack Stephens replacing VvD, Sims & McQueen getting game time. He appeared to be giving youngsters a chance, following the “pathway” stuff we preach about. You can only do this if you’re not working for a trigger happy chairman. What’s a future manager going to do, take a risk or play it safe . If his jobs on the line after a few bad results , he’ll revert to the tried and tested. I genuinely believe given time and a decent goal scorer Puel would have done a cracking job and we’d be seeing 3 or 4 of our own playing regularly each week. If I was wrong and the season didn’t pan out like that, and the 0-0 stifling bore draws continued, then he’d have fully deserved the sack. But to bin him so early was gutless and wrong. It was the time to stand by the manager, to back him. Frankly it was the time to do exactly what we’re doing now. We chucked a decent manager under a bus and are standing by a poorer one now. 10. God, terrible to think somebody targeted a party leader and wanted then dead. Last time I remember that happening it was Corbyns mates trying to murder Maggie. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Her voice is horrendous, but she makes up for it in the arse department. If I was running the show I'd have him doing the talking and her stood next to him, looking good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I’m still waiting for Jonny Leftie to explain the details of the 8,000 houses immediately available to the homeless. How’s it going to work? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. If you think the Blairites are the useful idiots you are truly deluded. Far and away the worst campaign in living memory, the most unprofessional shambles and a leader totally out of her depth campaigning, yet Jezza was still 50+ seats behind her. A Blairite candidate would have romped home. Alan Johnson would have won an absolute landslide. There’s a reason Corbyn has spent 30 years on the back benches and it’s not been a right wing plot. His kindly old uncle act is going to wear thin by the time of the next election, his spending commitments are going to be scrutinised like they weren’t last time, he’ll have to come off the fence over Brexit and he’ll be up against a young fresh Tory figure. Imagine him and Cable going up against Ruth Davidson in 2021. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. When the Pep thing was discussed on Sunday Supplement Henry Winter & 2 other journos (cant remember who they were) all agreed that Redmond is one of the nicest guys in the game. Said he was an intelligent approachable young man who was popular in the game. Doesn’t make him a better player, might not be true ( although why say it otherwise), but puts another perspective on the bloke. I get the feeling people desperately want him to be a twt because that suits their agenda. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. How is it going to work then? 1. Can they live in one as long as they want. 2. Do they have to pay rent. 3. If they default on their rent, are they evicted back onto the streets. 4. Will anti social legislation apply, will people be evicted if they ruin their neighbours quality of life. 5. Will your new house be where you’re living on the streets or where you’re from. If my lad left Poole and started living on the streets of Chelsea, would he get a nice Chelsea residence to live in, or will he be forcibly removed moved back to Dorset. 6. Who can live in your new house. Could I move onto the streets in May, get given my new house & then move the Mrs in with me? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I’m sure Jezza’s announcement today that he’s going to immediately buy 8,000 houses for the homeless once he wins the election , is going to be a vote winner in the Tory/labour marginals. Self-identification another subject he spoke on is also another vote winner up and down the country. Say you’re a women, and you’re a women he confirmed to Marr. At least I won’t have to queue for a slash at half time. I’ll just go in the ladies because under Corbyn the stewards won’t be able to do a thing about it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  20. Well you think it's bizarre we've loaning out one of our 3 left backs. What are you saying we need 3 left backs but only 2 right backs? You're all over the place , anyone would think you're moaning for the sake of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Bizzare Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hopefully it's performance related, they should both get **** all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Corbyn is the only thing that gives the Tories hope. A moderate would absolutely destroy them at the next election Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Really bizarre. Can't quite believe we've sent our third choice LB out on loan. Quite frankly it beggars belief. His development would be better enhanced by not playing for us rather than getting game time in the championship. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. It’s not about her being a bird, if a male had a voice like Bally’s it would be annoying, Motty is annoying, but she takes it to another level. It’s like being constantly nagged. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
