Really? Has he even done his coaching badges? Or do you think he'll get by on reputation alone. That Gabbi's gonna say say "wow that's Ricky Lambert. scored a lot of goals in the lower leagues, & had 2 good seasons in the Premiership, I'm in awe of him. Forget about his coaching credentials,I'm sure I can learn from him, seeing as I'm only an ex juve, Sampdoria & Napoli Italian international". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was very similar to the first two home games last season, except it was 0-0 rather than 1-1. How many saves did their keeper make? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, why? Are you trying to say that Swansea weren't incredibly poor. Had the exact same players produced the exact same performance but Puel was manager this place would be in utter meltdown. Watching people attempting to twist & turn to claim it's somehow not the case is a laughable as the way it was done to denigrate 8th last season. FYI I did every home game bar 2 last season & a dozen away. Yesterday was deja vu . Hardly surprising given it's the exact same players. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Of course not. 0-0 against an incredibly poor side, keep trying to convince yourselves. The penny will drop in about a month

John Barnes on Talksport. "In my day if you wanted a move and it was rejected, you stayed and got on with it. You respected the club and supporters. You were happy to sign a contract, and although a move would have been great, if denied one, you stick to your contract". He specifically mentioned VvD, rather than PC. Claims he could have moved to Liverpool earlier, but was refused. Just stayed and respected Watford. Said there was no chance of anyone messing their club around or sulking back then. Saints Transfers Thread - Deadline Day

I'm not a great fan of his, but to say he doesn't "get football" is just complete & utter nonsense. He reads the game incredibly well for a youngish player, tactically he's sound and his technique is really good . My doubts are that he's one paced, pretty slow, and he's not physically strong enough. There were signs last year that he's getting there, so this season will be interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Especially that Alyson Rudd, she's one annoying 6 Pinter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

**** me, no. They're up players & managers arses more than ex players. Look what they're like with Redknapp & Fat Sam, now they're all in love with klopp. Terrible idea, they're pretentious enough as it is without put them up as experts. Crickets got it right, one or two professional tv men holding it together & ex players giving an insiders view. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don't talk rubbish. It's not as easy as you think. The man in the street would be a gibbering wreck . Zero credibility, you only have to hear radio phone in to know that. Why on earth would anyone want to listen to Fred the plumber or Andy the lorry drivers opinion on a game? There's some really thoughtful pundits about, Stewart Robson the best imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Must be the first time for 3 or 4 seasons Liverpool away isn't a TV game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Presumably the person the message was sent to in error has kept it. Puts us very much in the driving seat regarding Liverpool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Saints Transfers Thread - Deadline Day

I quite like long, but selling one of him or Austin makes sense ( provided we replace). Both are reaching the end of their usefulness, with Charlie's injury record & Longs age. I can we'll see a situation next summer where it hasn't worked out for Gallagher ,Charlie's been in & out the side & Long is Long but a year older. We could need to replace all 3 in one window. Add into the mix the possibility that Gabbi scores 20 goals and becomes our next transfer saga . To swap the oldest for a younger model this summer makes sense imo. Im going through a similar thing with my old man at the moment, watching that did make me laugh. The way he avoids answering. It was funny when the memory doctor asked him what day if was and Glen replied " I'm Glen Campbell why do I need to know what day it is". That last concert during the film was a real heart in mouth moment, could he get through it without breaking down , heartbreaking really, and incredibly brave of the family to film it. His daughter was amazing, but even with a fuzzy brain, he played as sweet as ever. Played Wichita lineman twice in a row by mistake, but can't see the audience complaining about that. No transfer list nowadays. Agent will just be told that we're open to offers, given a ball park figure & the agent touts him around Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He's one of the greatest guitarists ever, & had a great voice. A lot of people don't realise what a top session musician he was. Check out "The Wrecking crew" documentary on Netflix. The amount of famous records he played on was unbelievable. I'm not an emotional man at all, but his final tour film, when he was fighting dementia reduced me to tears. Sometimes he couldn't remember his kids names, the day it was, lost his rag plenty of times and needed his daughter to help him around the stage, but when he played his guitar, man it was amazing still. "I'll be me" , people should check it out. Nobody played guitar like Glenn. Here there are some seriously great musicians watching him, Willie Nelson, Chet Atkins, Waylon Jennings amongst them and the respect is evident in their faces . RIP Glen. Sad news tonight, the death of Glen Campbell. He was an absolutely fantastic musician, with a great voice. Suffered from an horrendous disease, nobody can watch the documentary about his battle without shedding a tear . RIP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

"A few", that's a bit of an exaggeration isn't it. Two , at a push 3. He's done nothing to deserve a place under Puel or Koeman Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He's a decent defender if you're compact & don't push the full backs on, but not sure he'd fit our system . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
