He’s a ****ing plum. Even when the rules are read out, he’s still saying the decision was wrong. “Bring on VAR” he insisted, it would have shown the decision was right, you ignoramus. Then he claims “foreign “ keepers don’t catch the ball these days, neither do English ones you plank. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I posted Stewart Robsons criticism of VvD on here and got shouted down by some. But he showed today exactly what Robson claimed. He didn’t win the header against Llorente & then was oblivious to the danger from the resulting flick on. As Robson said at the top top level you’ll be punished. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Bottle job from the sky interviewer. When Klopp says “clearly offside” & “I don’t know why they were discussing it”, he should have told him replay shows Lovren touched the ball, therefore he’s not offside. Would have shut the twt right up. No doubt the bloke knew but bottled telling Klopp. How anyone thinks either weren’t pens beggars belief. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I don’t know whose got the bigger balls , the Lino or Kane. Amazing end. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Why on earth are they continually trying to play out at the back, they’re getting caught time and time again. If Pell does that next week, he’ll get slaughtered, yet Poch is a genius to most on here. Get Llorente up front and go longer, god I’m sounding like Dinosaur Dave. They’ve played right into Liverpool’s hands & got the crowd up for it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I just hope next week our manager doesn’t play into Liverpool’s hands and set his side up to play like the Spurs manager has so far . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Behave yourself man. Have you been drinking? Since leaving League 1 Southampton he's managed one of the biggest clubs in the country, the club where he made his name as a player and is now at a similar sized club to us. He's managed numerous seasons 2 steps above where he left us. If that's a downwards trajectory, what's an upwards one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Watford are an outside bet . Had they not chucked one in the net against us we'd be above them now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If I remember correctly in the summer, he was the first to say he wasn’t training the day before it came out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sorry mate, I don’t buy this. Not saying you’re bull****ting because you were on the money regarding VvD, but your source could be or his source etc. Etc. I don’t believe for one minute a manager is summoned to the meeting and told he’s got to win Sat or he’s out. I believe the board could have decided this in his absence and I also believe he could have been invited to discuss his performances. I just don’t believe they spell it out to him in such harsh terms as it could be counter productive. They may have Hughes or Silva or somebody lined up, but not wanting/able to start till the cup week. It may suit the club to keep things on an even keel for a few days. Him knowing he’s gone on Saturday at 5pm because we’ve lost, helps nobody. He clearly knows deep down a defeat Sat and he’s probably toast, I just don’t buy that he’s been summoned to the board meeting and told. I don’t think it works like that even in the mad world of football. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The board meeting could have decided to sack him, but business as usual until they do. They'd clearly decided to sack Nigel before he took charge of the Chelsea game. My gut feeling is the day after the Liverpool game sticks out a bit. Gives us 2 weeks before another league game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He went to Hull. He clearly took that job to get his foot in the door of English football. After what happened at Watford, does he feel he needs to rebuild his reputation in England. If so, this will be ideal. Short term contract with a pause for breath in the summer. It’s a win win for both sides, him and us. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Perhaps Gao pulled the wool over her eyes. If it was a deliberate act of pulling her money out for profit and not giving a Shiite, why retain 20%. What sort of business person would hang around if they felt that it could go tits up. Had this deal come within 6 months of her fathers passing, then people may have a point. The fact is she’s been a fantastic owner from that day till she sold her majority stake. She deserves the benefit of any doubt going. She’s earnt that benefit 10 times over. What do people think, there’s a Jack Walker like Saints fan going to buy us. The simple fact is that every single owner we’re ever going to have in the modern game will be out solely to make money. As money making owners go Kat Liebher was a bloody decent owner , we could of had a lot worse. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Gab Marcotti discussed release clauses on his podcast. They are basically the player buying out his contract . There's a case in china at the moment . The Chinese government have imposed a 100% tax on foreign players worth over £5 million to clamp down on capital flight. A club have paid millions for a spainish player by meeting his release clause but are claiming they've paid nothing as he was a free agent. Fifa have agreed that he's bought out his own contract, and it's now down to the Chinese authorities to determine whether bunging the player the release money is subject to this tax. Fifa have accepted they've paid £0 for him and he's a free agent. How does this relate to us? Well clearly release clauses are upfront payments and it's up to the selling club to agree to change this. I doubt many clubs would cough up £35 million in one lump sum, certainly not us.
