  1. 1-1 analyst blaming Morgan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I doubt we'd have sold Chambers if we didn't have Clyne. If we just sold players when they wanted to go, why not Morgan that season? There is always a line drawn. Morgan that summer, big vic the following one. Just can't see all 3 going at once. 2 yes, not all 3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just put him on ignore. However, that only works if people stop quoting him when they moan about him being a troll. The only time I read his pony is when someone quotes him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I can't see it. I'm not saying that those 3 don't want to go, or that we won't sell all 3 individually, but I can't see all 3 going at once. For all the sales, we do draw a line. I'd be amazed if we sell 3 of the back 4 the same summer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Great performance bearing in mind our missing players, 4 of whom are nailed on starters. The lads that came in did really well & the centre half partnership was superb. Personally I don't buy this "Austin would have buried that " & the criticism of long today. Of course Long can't finish, if he could he'd be in a champions league side, but I'm not convinced Austin would be anywhere near the chances. Long gets us up the pitch, his movement worries defenders. Gabbis got the movement & the finish but Austin just the finish. Playing Austin is the equivalent of playing with 10 until the final third. In the modern game you just can't have that. Long stretched them today, which gave the midfield space to play. He was an important part of our win today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. There's the difference between Puel & Koeman. Our 3 subs coming on, under Koeman Cuco the clown would have played, Caceres would have played, JRod would have come on. Puel is going to be great for the future of this club & some of you lot will end up with egg on your faces. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. There isn't a football ground in the country that has a better atmosphere now than it used to have (save Leicester last year). We're no different than anywhere else. Funny thing is, it's one thing the supporters can do something about, yet they just moan about others & lack of goals rather than do something about it. If you stop going because of a lack of atmosphere, you're not much of a supporter really. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes it includes the failed Middlesbrough manager. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If everyone in football can see his promise, what's he still doing here? Why have there been no serious offers for him. I'd be amazed if he turned out anything other than an average premier league player, bit like Andrew Surmans ended up. People are getting carried away because he hasn't looked out of place in the side lately, it's only the averageness of his last 2 years that make these last 2 months seem better. He's turned a corner, but he's still not anywhere near as good as somebthink Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. He's done better lately, but let's not get too carried away. He's still incredibly weak in the tackle ( the goal yesterday he was weak in a tackle as the move was starting), and he's still one paced. He's looking better, but that's only because he was pretty average before. I really don't get the praise, he's not a patch on Davo or OR & had PEH followed up on his early promise may not even have featured that much lately. He's clearly not a right sided player and if he's going to have a decent career needs to get into the centre. Personally, I think he'll have a similar career to Andrew Surman. Sat will be a good test, with no OR or Davo and playing away at a tough physical side he needs to step up to the plate. He needs to start taking a few games by the scruff of the neck or changing them ( like Davo did at Boscombe). Lately he seems to play well when we play well, but is average when we don't . Average players are like that, internationals & particularly FEC's aren't , they set the tone & the tempo they run games. I've seen zero evidence he'll ever be capable of that. 11. Challenge for what exactly? The nearest we've got to winning anything was this season, not under Poch & not under Koeman. We were as far away from challenging for the league those seasons as we are this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Great performance, Tadic in particular. Well done to the manager for not panicking and taking off long, JWP or Redmond & leaving the side as it was. I haven't read the match thread but I'm sure the chumps were calling for changes at 1-1. Defended great, although Benteke won nearly everything ( as he normally does) our alert back 4 & OR got around the second ball. That's good coaching & good defending. **** me, if we'd have swapped strikers we'd have beat them 6 or 7. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Another step tonight, more education against one of the very best in the air & he did ok. Of course some chimps on here would rather a foreign Carlos kick a ball played. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Or our nuclear industry http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/2791941/Gordon-Brown-invites-Saudi-Arabia-to-invest-in-Britains-nuclear-industry.html Still it's ok if we're in the EU isn't it. As I was trying so say before spell check ****ed it up. You're hypocritical, all over the place over this. The bitter disappointment over defeat has muddied your brain . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Still cant understand how the professional pundits & journos can't see what some of the geniuses on here can. Either they are totally deluded about the perceived job that Puels done or the posters on here are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Whilst in the EU At least you lefties are consistent, consistently hypercritical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. If you think thats evidence that Brexit supporters endorse public flogging you really are deluded Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  18. If Ronald Koeman had no Pelle, no Mane, No VvD from Jan till end of season, no Jose Fonte & no Big Vic where do people think we'd have ended up last season? Some of our support really need a reality check. There's not one serious professional pundit or writer who questions the job Puels done this season. What on earths the matter with some of you people? You're becoming as deluded as West Ham supporters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Are you being serious? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Happy birthday to Mr Brexit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. What a load of old pony. Please point me in the direction of where I've advocated public flogging of criminals. Perhaps you can point to any evidence that Brexit supporters endorse public flogging. Looks like you're starting to make things up, the bitterness of defeat is obviously starting to affect you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Jamie Redknapp said he's perfect for a side that is direct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I don't quite see what tourists have to do with it, we were discussing people living in the EU. Of course Spain want Brits to stay in Spain and won't do anything to jeopardise that. There's zero chance of a like for like deal not being done, but that's because we've used their citizens to trade off against ours. However the snowflakes wanted to give that up .If I was Spanish pm & The U.K. had unilaterally declared my citizens could stay, I'd say " yours can as well, but we're not going to continue to underwrite British workers health care". Before adding "like pensioner expats I expect the U.K. to reimburse us".What's May gonna do, tell workers she can't look after British citizens on European soil or agree to cough up. ****ing good job you lefties aren't negotiating on our behalf, you soft arses would have your pants pulled right down. We'd probably end up giving the IOW to Belgium Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Does anybody seriously believe that if we unilaterally gave EU citizens the right to remain the EU would do the same without linking it to something else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Caceres

We've tended to have 4 , but that's not your point. You wrote" If we are serious about being a decent side " Stephens wasn't the future & should be 4th choice. How on earth can you judge whether Stephens is the future & what stage of his development he'd be at in 4 months. One thing for sure is I doubt he'd be happy with being 4th choice. If we are serious about being a side that develops youngsters with a pathway to the first team, Stephens needs to be third choice pushing the regular 2 for s starting berth.
