  1. Rubbish, had we drawn or God forbid lost on sat, you'd have been moaning like **** about the side he'd picked Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Correct And every Saints supporter would have accepted this at the start of the season Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  3. See I'm really struggling with this new way we've found of judging seasons. I've always given my West Ham supporting mate clog because despite winning the World Cup , their highest top flight finish is 3rd, whereas ours is of course 2nd. However we got 2nd with 77 points & they were 3rd with 84 points. I'm also slightly perturbed to find that under the new Saints web system our 2nd place doesn't seem to count. The following 2 seasons we would only have finished 3rd & 4th respectively. I feel such a fool because I've spent 30 years thinking that 1983/84 was such a great season, but it turns out not to be. This new system of measuring achievement is really going to put the cat amongst the pigeons. I hope my West Ham mate doesn't catch on otherwise it'll be payback time. However he's a normal bloke not a ****ing halfwit so I'd imagine he still thinks 2nd is higher than 3rd . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I must have missed the sarcastic comments when Poch finished 8th. Funny how things change, give footballer supporters a couple of decent years and they become arrogant dicks. 8th is a good finish for this club, not happened too often in 100+ years and it was good enough under Poch. 5. Watching Daily Politics on catch up it appears that Labour's "fully costed" manifesto doesn't allocate a single penny for their nationalisation policy. They've also done no economic analysis of behavioural changes regarding tax rises. I thought every serious economist factored that in to every model, but McDonnell hasn't. Then again what do you expect ,he couldn't even answer Nick Robinsons question on how big the deficit is. Funny as ****, the massive pause, the "we must invest" delaying tactic , the denial that we was getting helped , before he gives the wrong figure. By complete coincidence the figure he gave (wrongly) was the same out of date figure on Wikipedia this morning. **** me, someone who wants to be CoE relying on google for his figures. Has there ever been a more incompetent bunch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. 8th would be good. Same finish as Poch in his first full season & one lower than Koemans in his. Oh, and neither reached a cup final. Cue "Puel out" brigade explaining why it's different !!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. All I'm saying is I wish people would stop banging on about "fair" taxes. The only thing that's fair is everybody paying the same %. I'm not advocating flat taxes, just an acknowledgment of how much money the richer portion of society transfer to the poorest. The tax system isn't fair if you use the word correctly , because some workers pay 0 % and some pay 45% of money they've earned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Interesting use of the word "fair". Surely everybody paying the same % is the fairest system. Perhaps politicians of both sides should start acknowledging the vast amount of money the richest pay into the system. The way "rich" is chucked around as some sort of insult is disgusting. The vast vast majority are hard working decent citizens, they shouldn't be used as some sort of cash cow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. More chance of Corbyn winning the election than that happening Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. My Mrs works in the NHS, as do countless of her friends. However, instead of listening to them and then forming an opinion , I'm now going to just read Guardian articles and other opinion pieces from "experts" and copy their views. That way I'll be as clever and knowing as Timmy. Regarding the NHS, if labour are standing on a platform of save "our" (pass the sick bucket) NHS , and are totally routed, doesn't that indicate that people don't agree it needs saving or it's not as an important issue as lefties make out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. He's no more passionate than Puel is. What about Hollowhead, he's passionate. Or maybe Warnock, is he passionate enough Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So was I, we weren't miles away? We were 1 unlucky defeat away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. We were one unlucky defeat away from it, that's pretty close imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The only hope Corbyns got of not being completely & utterly destroyed is if some Labour voters who intend to vote Tory, just can't bring themselves to do so on the day IF the switch from Labour to Tory is "soft", Corbyn may get away with a 80-100 majority. If not I can honestly see Labour losing in areas they never dreamed they could & massive massive May win. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. There was also a Lawrie out mob as well. Good job we gave him more than a season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. **** me, I thought everyone had seen through AR 10 last time. There's not one thing he writes that isn't in the public domain somewhere. VvD having his photo taken in his kit was on here a few days ago, perhaps AR 10's mate in the first team read it on here. It's a load of pony. It's easy to post a 50/50 thing like Puel is leaving and then make up an excuse when it doesn't happen, that's what he did with Pellagreni Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I don't know I didn't watch them . If you read my first post on this thread I was discussing games I'd seen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah we were real lucky to keep 4 clean sheets in 4 games against them . Unbelievable, we went for a draw, set up for a draw, got one, but you're still moaning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I hope you're watching West Ham go toe to toe with Liverpool. I'm sure their supporters will be happy with their offensive play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Boscombe away was great, as was first appearance at Olympic Stadium. Watford, Sunderland & West Brom away were as good as any away game under Koeman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. To judge him at Hull is pretty harsh as they're a shocking side. My objection to him is the negative style he plays, if the Puel out brigade think we're negative this season, wait till he's manager, and his links to Jorge Mendes. When he got the Hull job journos we're discussing the appointment on Sunday Supplement, saying that Mendes had been touting him around English football for months, as he wanted someone at a club he could get players in to. Recently I heard another pundit stating that "the truth about Hulls transfers in Jan will come out one day". I don't know how many of their Jan signings were Mendes clients , but it looks like he's trying to use Wolves in the same way. I'd rather not take the chance he'd have undue influence on the club. 22. I done roughly half the away games & have a ST each season and I'd say this season has been pretty good. Under Ron & Poch there were some woeful away performances, we've been far more consistent away from home, but home performances have been average. We played really well in the San Siro & the cup final and really should have won both. Personally I feel that if Boufall produces next season, we could be a really good side, we just miss that bit of magic. I don't hold out much hope & if I had to put money on it would say he'll end up like Gaston. The slight hope I have is Riyad Mahrez took a season to get up to speed with English football. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. He was shiete the season before under the same manager. Perhaps sheite is a bit harsh, but he was no better in Koemans first season than he has been in Claude's . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thank god you're not in charge of our recruitment. You call Gabbi a "flash in the pan" & call for King. I presume from that you don't consider King a flash in the pan. Before this season he'd played 123 league games and scored 12 goals, how can you be sure this isn't his "flash in the pan"? I don't call one season of 16 goals a "proven premier league goal scorer", and ****ing Defoe is too old & will want too much money. As for Niasse, he was ****ing woeful at Everton, again is his Hull form, if you can call it that, not a flash in the pan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I'm going to wait until we've lost a cup final & are midtable, then I'll start one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
