  1. He's not slow , even at his age he's still pretty quick, quicker than Jose is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What's the score with registering somebody not played in the comp , I presume if VvD's out there's no chance of a new centre half signing tomorrow & playing #clutching@straws Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That's more like it . Yesterday is the standard he should be producing week in week out. If that becomes his minimum level rather than his best , I may have to eat humble pie . Let's see him do it against the big boys before going overboard but he's earnt a start weds IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I would consider Bertrand with McQueen coming in at LB. I don't know enough about Stephens to say if he's up to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Played well , but they were woeful. JWP played well , better than normal . That's the bare minimum expected. He needs to play like that week in week out , and then top it off with some better performances , and we may have a player. One swallow and all that. Yoshida, OR & JRod did well . Tadic average. If VvD misses weds then it will be a real kick in the teeth. Great to kick on from 2-0 up, unlike last season under Ron when we blew it . So well done to Claude Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'll agree with 90% of this, but beer being insignificant ? Nah, it's bloody important . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So you're basically saying whoever leaves our club for another one, you'll boo them. It doesn't matter how long they've played for us, or what they've achieved for us, you'll boo them unless they play the rest of their career here. And all because they're paid the going rate for footballers in this day and age. If a modern day Terry Paine came along and played 800 odd games for us , you'll boo the rich millionaire **** if he signs for another club at the arse end of his career ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Me too. I remember when he signed and I'd watched him a few times ,I told my Skate mate that he'd play in the premiership. I genuinely thought he'd give us a couple of good seasons and then move on to a mid table premier league club (thinking we'd be stuck in the championship for a bit). We were pretty good for him, but in terms of the modern game to get so many ****ing brilliant years out of him was fantastic. However, I do hope he suffers one more kick in the teeth and regret about leaving. Penny for his thoughts as he watches VvD picking up the League cup 2 months after he's left us. 9. Exactly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I went to 9 away games last season and have done 5 this season. The best two performances I've seen were West Ham & Boscombe under Puel. If you think passion and pride were evident all last season, you obviously weren't at Norwich, Watford or West Brom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I just want Reed to sign anyone. I don't care if they're not very good or we over pay for him , I just want a centre half onboard. If he turns out to be shiete & we're stuck with the useless lump it'll give me another opportunity to slag Reed off,he can also replace Redmond as my scapegoat , so it's win win for me. 12. It's exactly what we were promised. The British Government are taking back control of immigration. If the British Government decide to relax immigration from certain countries, that's down to the British Government & Parliament to decide . They have control over the decision Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It wasn't my agenda pal, it was Osborne Carney and other remaniacs that were obsessed with the "immediate" shock to the economy of a leave vote . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No they didn't . Why do you need a long term assessment to see if someone saying " in the event of a leave vote there will be an immediate shock to the economy " is right or wrong . There is either an immediate shock or there isn't . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Remain were certain there was going to be a shock to the economy immediately following a vote to leave Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Which rather blows some peoples theory that the board can't wait to sell our best players Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Deserves one "Jose Fonte baby" when he warms up and applause at the end . Anyone who boos him is a ****ing idiot. I went to the Mayflower do a few years back when loads of ex players appeared on stage and were given a great reception and respect. In 20 years time I'm hoping our promotion wining side could come back or go to a similar event and ALL of them receive a great welcome . It's time to end this nonsense of hating them . Walcott , Bale & AOC don't get it, yet they bailed out without doing **** all for our club. The journey from league one was fantastic, unforgettable , and the guys who were there the whole time deserve some respect. Hopefully time will heal some of the nonsense . 18. Maybe the sticking point is Weds game. Would Klopp want to take the chance on him scoring or helping us keep a clean sheet at Anfield Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Jose has not been as good this season as other seasons. That's not me downgrading him , he's downgraded himself. Yoshida has stepped up to the plate this season and played a lot better than previous seasons. This season they're on a par. That is my opinion , and I would still have it if West Ham were buying Yoshida & Jose was staying . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yoshida has been as good as Jose this season. Therefore he is perfectly capable of replacing this seasons Jose Fonte. What he may not replace is last seasons Jose Fonte. The big question is which Jose Fonte will West Ham get. If it's last seasons version , then they've got a good buy. If it's this season's we've mugged them off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Talk about selective reading. Did I say tax was a bad thing. No, I just said that we pay way too much in tax already. We waste an incredible amount of tax payers money, why should we waste even more to fund social care. If we had a sensible welfare system , a modern NHS & stopped paying millions to foreign citizens we could find social care without tapping up the hard working taxpayer again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Is it confirmed that we are replacing him from within or are people just assuming that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. The answer is not increasing taxes. It never ever raises the money it claims it will and always gets wasted. 15 years down the line they'll still be a crisis and a new generation of useless politicians will propose increasing taxes. We already pay too much tax in this country , but it is dished out to too many people instead of being concentrated on the deserving. Perhaps we could use the foreign aid budget to fund the care of our own people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Puel

So he's done what over a dozen other managers haven't . Including managers with players like Lallana, Mane, Big Vic, Shaw, Morgan, Rickie, Clynne, & Toby? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
