  1. There's no such thing as " hard " Brexit . Everybody made it very clear , especially the leaders of the remain side , that leaving the EU would mean leaving the single market . So there clearly is a mandate to leave the single market . I bet you can't find one clip of a leave campaigner stating that we shouldn't have access to it . The fantasy isn't with people who think we can have access but people who think Canada can , but we can't . Canada can do deals with the rest of the world , Canada doesn't accept free movement of EU nationals , so why should we ?
  2. Mark Wright would be absolute class in the modern game
  3. Not like the sensible people on here that never write the manager off after 3 games and never want to splash out wages we can't afford keeping players
  4. Access isn't being a member. To clear up any doubt 5.15 into this interview Boris states voting to leave is a vote to leave the single market. So i don't really see what point you're trying to make. The leaders of the remain campaign together with Boris & Michael Gove made it very very clear.
  5. Wonder if Big Vic can stay on the pitch with Twtentburg reffing today's game
  6. People complain about refs but I honestly think linesman are the best they've ever been at judging offsides.Time & time again replays show someone marginally offside & they've called it right , amazing when the game is so quick nowadays
  7. Andrew Neil also showed clips of Angela Eagle as well as prominent leave campaigners saying the same thing . As he said afterwards , there was no doubt about it . Remain leaders said leaving EU would mean leaving single market .
  8. There's no such thing as "hard " or "soft " Brexit it's made up nonsense by people who want to remain in the single market . Andrew Neil showed clips of all the remain leaders saying a vote to leave will mean leaving the single market. He then cut to clips of leave leaders agreeing and stating the same . Staying in the single market means accepting free movement , not being able to do our own trade deals , being subjected to EU court rulings and paying money into the EU . I doubt anyone can find more than a handful of people who voted Leave , but wants those things to remain in place. All this nonsense about no plan , is just that , nonsense . The plan is clearly as much access to the single market without conceding those areas. Canada ,will have a deal without having to accept free movement or a ban on doing deals with other nations , so it's perfectly reasonable to think we can as well. If labour or anyone else thinks they have a better plan they should put it before parliament & the people. Leaving the EU , but staying in the single market is not a plan it's deluded . Being out of Schengen & the euro zone meant or relationship with the EU was pretty much the single market only anyway , and that was rejected by the country . I can maybe see some sort of payment being made into the EU, but don't believe for one minute the British people will stand for free movement & not being able to strike out own trade deals.

    JWP

My thoughts exactly. As poor as PEH was in both Milan games,he's shown more in the limited games he's played than JWP has done in 4 years. You can see the makings of a good player. JWP is just average in so many aspects of the game .One paced, safe passing all the time, weak and even his famed dead ball delivery is a bit of a myth.I think he needs sending out to the championship to toughen him up a bit. Then we'll see whether he makes it or not , personally I don't think he will . He will end up another Surman
  10. I'm all for parliament voting for A50 and I'm all for parliament voting on any deal May brings back . However if parliament rejected Mays deal then we are stil out of the EU but we don't have a trade deal . We then have tto trade undert wto rules ,not because of Brexit but because the remoaners in parliament rejected Mays deal . The choice is Mays deal or WTO, not Mays deal or staying in . If they vote her down May then needs to call an election where other parties can publish their broad outline of the Trade deal they want . The public them have a choice . WTO rules out of the EU , labours plans for life out of the EU or Torry plans for life out of the EU , or Little Timmys lib/dumbs version - rejoining the EU . That's parliamentary democracy . What isn't is remoaners taking the position that we remain in until everyone can agree with what out looks like . We've already voted out and it's quite right that democratically elected people vote on what out looks like .
  11. I like WTFILN because it's different from what others sing and it doesn't mention the ****s . For a modern game the atmosphere was pretty good . However , there's still people leaving before the end . WTF we're beating Inter Milan and some plums have to leave early .

    JWP

**** me , I can't believe some of the pony on here . He was ok against a very average side , it certainly wasn't worthy of the hard ons some seem to have . Nowhere near the class of OR or Davo , it seems that by not being shiete is now barnstorming performance . By the same measure , Yoshida is the new John terry because he did put in a fantastic display . JWP did OK , nothing more
  13. Labour will be committing electol suicide if the vote against A50 . Forget the fact they've no chance under Corbyn , they'll be smashed in the north . If there's a general election , ukip will only stand against anti A50 MPs and they'll win . They'll step aside from pro A50 ones to ensure the votes not split & the lib dumbs come through the middle . Personally I've always thought May will win a A50 parliamentary vote . Tories will be whipped & for every Clarke or Sourbry that'll defy it , they'll be a labour MP that won't go against their own voters . Add the NI leavers in as well as labour Leavers & I think they'll do it .
  14. Do you think the snp MPs should take their wages ?
  15. Clasie is a bit more disciplined at holding his position than PEH , so that's maybe why Claude starts him in league games . He's a decent squad player , a better version of JWP , but that's about it. Clearly long term PEH will be ahead of him in the pecking order, but it's early days & he's still a nipper . The issue for me is that JWP should be pushing himself ahead of Clasie by now , it's one thing being kept out of the side by Morgan or Big Vic but if he can't get in ahead of Clasie , will he ever become a starter when we play our first choice side .
  16. Just seen the goals on sky news and the second is as bad defending as I thought live . Great strike from Costa , but it was comical defending by Martina. Deserves a rollicking for that , is it some new technique the chuck berry backward duck walk tackle . Under 12's will get clog for defending like that , let alone professionals . He was nervous like a rabbit caught in the headlights the whole game . Look at their full back . Tadic turned him inside & out , early on . One run the bloke was like a lush at closing time staggering around . But , he got tighter & tighter to Tadic, got a bit physical , got help from his mates and snuffed the threat out . That's what I'd have expected from Martina, pulling people over to help him , rattling a few bones . He's a big lad, it's one thing getting turned over by world class players , but if you do they should know about it . VvD left a bit on Costa , Martina just wanted to Morris dance with him . I know it's Halloween and Hazzard is world class but he was ****ting himself every time he got the ball
  17. We were lucky to get away with 2 today , could easily have been 4 or 5 . They were totally and utterly in charge of that game . No lack of effort from our side , they're just better players who played well today . OR excellent again , but Tadic & Redmond played for about 10 mins , Charlie did well . Cuco is terrible , he seems to have no forward thinking football brain . It's like he gets the ball and then thinks "! Right , what do I do now", and by the time he's worked it out , the moments gone . He's not the worst defensively but going forward he's woeful .
  18. All I can see is a large % of young men . I'd take every under 16 & every women , provided the men of fighting age get trained up , armed and sent back to liberate their country . Who is going to rebuild these countries if all the young men have emigrated to Europe ?
  19. He has got the Midas touch. We have sustained progress
  20. Do these Brexit illiterates include Lord Digby Jones & Melvyn King?
  21. It's like a parallel universe , lefties crying for years that we need an industrial policy & state aid for manufacturing are now moaning about it . Just shows their love of the EU trumps everything . Watching QT on Thursday you had the arch luvvie Ken Loach , kier starmer & some idiot lib dumb women , complaining about Govt money being used to protect jobs in Sunderland.
  22. One advantage of leaving the EU is we can now give state aid to who the hell we wont , without breaking EU rules .
  23. Agreed . But listen to lefties & luvvies & they're in mortal danger , persecuted daily & living in grinding poverty . They've chosen to subject themselves to the conditions in the jungle rather than claim asylum elsewhere . They have a choice ,
  24. The Dublin convention is an EU agreement written in EU law , I couldn't give a flying **** what the EU defines as a refugee . The people in Calais could walk into a police station and claim asylum , in fact your beloved Dublin convention states that is what they must do .But they don't , they are safe & they could live in better conditions but choose not to . Why don't you save your sympathy for people who are unsafe , are in danger every day of their lives , rather than people who prefer to live in the uk rather than France , Italy or Greece .
