Personally I don't buy the played well under Adkins either, weren't the Gastonettes hoping that Porch would give him the chances Adkins never did. The number of migrants considered " enough " is subjective . For some a UK population of 60 million is too many , for some its 100 million . He didn't say anything about the expense or the effect on peoples lives. Just that in his and many others opinion we have had enough immigration. That can't be proved or disproved by any statistics.

Politicians have to take the emotion out of decisions , you can not make policy on the back of isolated events or the latest news cycle ( this is why you end up with millions being spent looking for one missing child) . Mr Woo clearly had talent, he could juggle the ball, do all sorts of circus tricks , the problem comes when there' s other people trying to get the ball off him . The media do seem rather selective about which dead bodies or dead children they show . I guess it's because the families won't see the pictures and therefore it won't cause them distress ,but there's no way an English kid would be pictured like this . There's no doubt that pictures and films of horrendous stuff turned people against the Vietnam war,so maybe the people can lead and shape the politicians response to all this . Personally when I see stuff like I this I thank my lucky stars I won the lottery of life and was born in a country that despite all it's faults is safe and secure . I also question how anyone believes that there can be any sort of God.

Second half Targett actually looked like a full back , won a couple of good one on ones when I was convinced he was squared up and about to be skinned . Right side was great today , Cedric having his best game and shows great promise , get RB in at left back and if Tadic plays like that , we will be dangerous down the flanks . Romeu looked the part , JWP had his best game I've seen . Pelle looks sharp and there's signs JRod is getting there. Jose best game of the season, although Maya is a worry . Things are looking up finally , but typically , we hit a bit of form and there's now no game for 2 weeks Tadic my motm , turned them inside out first half and 2 goals .

Looks like LVG leaving out his unsettled keeper is biting him in the arse . He'd have saved both of them

The only place he's going to make it is as a defensive midfielder . In that respect he did well today , tactically good and played some good passes . Needs to do it when we're up against it to convince me , but he didn' t look like a little boy lost today . Don't get the set piece specialist gig though . Is he the only free kick expert on the premiership ( and all sides have them nowadays ) that doesn't actually score. Interesting comments from stan Collymore in the week , he claims too many modern players are more worried about taking set pieces like Beckham or Ronaldo that they don't get the basic right , the basic being " put it in a dangerous area " . The first thing to point out is that west brom have been playing without Berahino , so have they handled it particularly well . How many points would they have had he been playing and are their message boards going into meltdown. Secondly if both their players stay against their will. What do they do come Weds ? I'm sure both have an eye on the euros , so they knuckle down and stay in Woys thoughts , throwing their toys out of the pram, refusing to play or playing badly and they can kiss goodbye to England next summer. Are our two in the same boat , will their national teams drop them, is there an Africian cup next summer? Trying to second guess what we should do or comparing us to others is pointless , every situation is different. If Victor played for Everton and stones for us, Victor would have had a tummy upset today and Stones would be facing Norwich tomorrow . IMO
