Is it a " cast iron guarantee " ? If so, I think we've been there before . It's a con . To get meaningful changes to the eu the change people seem to want , will require treaty change . There is already a law guaranting a referendum in the even of treaty change . Thus proving Cameron is just showboating and will only tinker around the edges , but try and pull the wool over the publics eyes .

I'm sure I've been through this before , but as you seem incapable of taking it in I'll try once more. I worked for a big multi national company that had very strict rules around recruitment . These rules were based on employment law. One of these rules was that I , as a manager, had to give any jobs to the best candidates regardless of race, colour , age or sexual persuasion . Had I given these jobs to White British people who were not as qualified as the Poles I took on, I would be sacked and would be breaking the law. They were extremely hard working and pleasant people , a credit to their country and fully justified my choices . There were also HR people present during assessments and interviews ensuring complete and utter compliance with any legislation . However, the simple fact is that some British people didn't get those jobs. Doing what is legally required whilst disagreeing with the law , is in no way " changing my mind" or being two faced . I may think speed limits are too low and want them increased to 100mph on the motorway , does driving around at 70 mean I can't voice that opinion ?

The minimum wage is ******** . It is set so low that it doesn't make a blind bit of difference . Had it been set at a rate that meant tax credits were abolished , it WOULD cost jobs .

What on earth are you on about ? Working too many hours is unhealthy , not to mention dangerous in a H&S way. However , what on earth has it got to do with Government when talking about hours that are deemed safe ? Are 1 hour contracts ok , what about 10 hours or 12 . If I have a business that demands flexibility and I am completely honest about the hours , terms , conditions . If I pay above the minimum wage and conform to Government working directives in respect of H&S . What the **** has it to do with Government ?

Its not the Governments job to dictate to employers how many hours they should give their staff.

You also have to control the timetable and without the SNP they won't be able to. I follow loads of people I don't agree with . lefties are by far the worst for blocking me. I've been blocked by Owen Jones , Diane Abbott and that jack Monroe bird. I made no comment as to whether it was right or wrong , just that the banking crisis was not labour " being too right wing " , which was the post I was responding to . It was a fact that profits were privatised and losses nationalised , hardly " being too right wing "

The BoE regulated the banks for years, Brown set up the new tripartite system and it failed. So it wasn't a question of more or less regulation, but proper regulation . Anyway what is more socialist than the state bailing out & nationalisation of failing business . Capitalism works when poor business models go bust and poorly run business fail. Isn't it any wonder that banks gambled other peoples money , when they knew full well they would be bailed out. Labour privatised profits and nationalised loses , how you can call that right wing is beyond me.
