I'm not a mail online reader, but i must say there's a couple of them that i would. The photographer missed a bit of a trick, with all that water about thought he could have had a few more with the wet t shirt look.

Nigel was a bit of a plum, but he was our plum. He gave me 2 unforgettable seasons and I only have positive memories of the guy. That said I just get the feeling that his style is not really suited to the premiership and the big business that its become. Its sad in a way, but all these homespun Nigelisms , have a limited lifespan. It was time for the club to move on, here's hoping for a home cup draw and a welcome back to nigel next season.

My mum worked for social services for many years and her job involved placing people with these terrible illnesses in care homes, in the vast majority of cases it is incredibly upset setting for them and their families, so I really feel for the op and can understand why this action by the club leaves such a bitter taste in the mouth. I'm sure that its just an unintended consequence of their eligibility test coupled with some jobsworth with no empathy or common sense (at least I hope that's what it is). I just hope it can all be sorted quickly and with no more upset.

Mine is showing now, so happy days. Just need to see if they are carrying over last seasons away tickets or starting afresh again. Away details have disappeared from history.

It may not mean much to some of the posters on here, but im sure it does no harm when NC's trying to get blue chip companies to sponsor stuff or become involved. It also helps when discussing stuff with the council, police and maybe the football authorities. I'm sure the ml trust also appricate their fathers legacy being built in a decent , friendly environment. I maybe old fashioned but I don't think there's too much wrong with this.

The problem I have is dopey mrs duck booked hols this year and I miss open Ing day. Don't really want to miss a home game, but don't want to be behind 8 ball with future away tickets. I'm hoping Arsenal away which I ****ing hated last year (not just the result, the whole experiance) but attractive enough for my elder son to be able to get a couple of his mates to use mine and nippers tickets.

So much for the points system. I wonder how they're going to allocate tickets for the first away game of the season.

Has anyone using zebra had their renewal confirmed by the club. I renewed the nippers by card and it shows on his transactions and he received an email from club. I renewed mine with my unique pin and got a message saying I'll receive dd info in a week , but still not showing as renewed and nothing from club. On a seperate note, are last seasons away games still showing on peoples history,mine is just showing the £1.50 charge for each ticket, but not the actual ticket. Is this normal

Talking of Europe and austerity. I thought the French approach was going to be the way forward, I remember Labour MP's queuing up to praise Hollande. Red Ed praised Hollande for his "determination to help create a Europe of growth and jobs, in a way that is responsible and sustainable". Before adding "This new leadership is sorely needed as Europe seeks to escape from austerity". And "the French president is a shining example of the centre-left showing leadership and hope in Europe". How did that work out ?

Had redknapp signed him for qpr for 12 million we'd be pizzing our pants. What a mug old harry is throwing £12 million at him. I haven't a clue whether him or his mrs are happy, but to me he gives the apperance of someone who is not . Maybe he'll come good maybe he won't, Tim vicerory said he wouldn't make it in the pl and he knows a bit more about south American football than most. If NC sells him this summer and gets his money back, I won't be bothered in the slightest.

I paid for my nippers on my debit card and it shows online in his transactions. I paid for mine via Zebra and it doesn't show online yet. I'm going to keep checking back and then call them next week if it still doesn't show as paid.

I took the advise on here and went for the Nexus. Being a bit of a dinosaur I thought I only had to put a DVD into the desk top and it'll save and be able to transfer. Which is the best free software to rip the DVD's with and then put on the nexus, or am I better off paying for one? I know it's basic but I really am out of touch.

Thanks for the replies. The nexus 7 was the other choice I was thinking about, think I'll pop into pc world and have a look. Of the 2 which is better for playing and storing music?

Thinking of getting one of these, are they any good. Would only use for reading, playing music , internet use and maybe the occasional film when on a plane or train. Not really big into games and apps. To be honest im totally hopeless with stuff like this, are kindles good value or a bit of a waste of money?

Alan Johnson, Lord Blair, Lord Carlisle all back it and they're hardly swivel eyed right wing loons. In fact Carlisle (a Lib/dem) said that it is being blocked by Clegg for "purely political reasons" because of demands from his grass roots. Lord Blair was saying it's an important tool to keep up with new technology, he was once the top policeman in the land not a poster on a football forum.

You wouldn't be much of a burglar if you had to rely on a football forum to work out a player has gone on holiday after the season has ended. Every ficking interview about this time of year involves someone saying they're going away for a well earned break. What do people think Mr Burgler reads this and thinks " fancy that, kelvins gone away". Ffs.

If it goes through parliament than that's democracy for you. You call it a "snoopers charter" but the way I look at it is our political leaders know a bit more about security and protection of the people than you or I . If both Tory and labour vote to pass this, that's pretty convincing in my opinion . Labour would not vote with Tory unless absolutely necessary. As for welfare, its spread too thinly and needs reform. The bill is way too high and if some money is redistributed to keep us safer , then so be it. I would start with universal benefits that are given to people who don't need them.

I remember reading about this at the time. Evidently he popped into Sainsburys on the way to training and got into a conversation with a supporter about the comings and goings at the club. This, and the guy ****ing around having his picture taken made him late. Rather than face a club fine he had to put his foot down . Nice bloke though.

Did anyone watch Question Time from Ulster last night? We had the bizarre sight of the sinn fein education spokesman condemning the attack on a British solider in cold blood. It took Ian Paisley Jnr to point out that the Replications did this to two soldiers, dragging them from the car and murdering them in cold blood. Dimble went very quiet and we all moved on.

It is a racial slur in America. End of, no debate about it. Whether you think it is or isn't, is irrelevant. Whether you think it should be or shouldn't be is irrelevant, it is.

I worked in the Southern states of America for a few years during the 80's and we had black guys as labourers.What Garcia said was incredibly offensive and would have got him knocked out on the construction sites we worked on. It's not a question of "fish and chips" or "roast beef" or even saying that a Frenchmen smells of garlic, it is a phrase that everybody over there knows is basically a racial slur. Garcia is either incredibly stupid or meant to cause offense, as a well travelled man who spends a lot of his time in the States I lean towards a deliberate insult designed to cause maximum offense rather than a bit of banter that went wrong. It's not for us to decide what is offensive in another country and what isn't. Fact of the matter is that using fried chicken in that context is a racial slur. I once saw a guy chased all over the roof of a health centre we were working on, after he called one of the black labourers "boy". To call a grown man boy is no big deal over here, but to call to order an African American around with the term boy will cause offense in the same way.

Come on, you're not keeping up with the forum rules. Any kipper who has idiotic views is representative of the whole party ,as well as anyone who has voted for them , or is thinking of voting for them. Whereas anyone like groper rennard, Denis mcshane , Michael brown and Eric Joyce are individuals that are no reflection on their party.
