Don't really know anything about the other two, but Hypo and Dune just come across as spending way too much time on this forum. they may pretend otherwise, but this forum is way too important to them.

Hypo is clearly obsessed with deppo (whose humour and relevance he never really got the hang of). He has posted on a thread called "deppo" far, far more times than anyone else. The relevance of deppo's "pointless" remarks is now clearer than ever with some of the idiotic threads that have been started, mostly by dune, blatantly missing the incisively satirical comments that showed up the idiocy of what was being said. Hypo and boj have just never managed to get their heads around satire, look through Hypos old posts for evidence.

Agree 100% I think people like boj and hypo just don't really get satire and actually feel a bit insecure around it. I could certainly see the point in nearly all of deppo's posts. Have a quick look through hypo's post history and you'll see most of his posts add almost nothing of value to the thread, that's what I call pointless. If deppo's posts were pointless, people wouldn't be missing them so much.

Deppo posted some things that were pointless and must NEVER be allowed to post on Saintsweb again.

Yes it's true. Boj is the traffic warden of rock. Rules must be obeyed without common sense intervening and creativity must be stifled.

Deppo made Dune look silly on many occasions. Dune tried to laugh it off at first, but it started to get to him after a bit, hence the weak attempts at digs from dune, even in his location. Dune is pretty relieved to see deppo go, I'd imagine.

This is the point. there are plenty of posters who rack up enough "pointless" posts to qualify for a ban, but boj specifically went after deppo, apparently spending one day carefully going through his recent post history and giving him retrospective infractions. Several on one morning mainly for posts that hadn't been made that day. Boj is being a bit dishonest inferring that it just built up. I bet you could do the same with many many posters, just trawl through their post history, infracting everything you find until you've got enough for a ban.

What a pathetic little man. Deppo was smarter than you and you felt threatened so you used your only sad, vindictive, little method possible and went after him. If you chose to you could infract 98% of posts on here for that, but you didn't, you infracted deppo's. ****.

A lot of what people are talking about here should be part of a covering letter surely? or has the employment market changed a lot since I had to worry? For my last application I used a one page CV and a one page covering letter and walked into the job. I've had quite extensive experience and qualifications too, plus plenty to say about how I would do the job. Maybe it's different in different job markets.

Whether or not drugs should be decriminalised is a tricky one but I'm still not sure why people seem happy at the moment to have some harmful and addictive drugs like alcohol and tobacco legal and taxed, but others, arguably less addictive and harmful criminalised. Where do people stand on this issue? 1976-Child inferred earlier that he thought things in America became worse after prohibition ended. Would you bring it back? And if not, why not? Alcohol is as addictive and harmful as most of the illegal drugs, if it were invented today, it would certainly be made illegal.

Good posts by 1976_Child and Hamilton Saint. Daily Mail style outrage over how terrible one event is, doesn't lessen the horror of other events or actions. "Bombing the ****" out of a country will leave plenty of other 13 year old boys mutilated and dying in agony. Quite surprised by the amount of calm rational sense has been spoken by the former poster, he's not someone I expected to agree with, but he's seen through this straight to the point of the matter. he's not dismissing or ignoring the horror and not saying it doesn't disgust him (apparently the opposite). he's looking at the situation and giving quite a convincing argument with a level head.

All good points, now make sure you don't lower yourself to their level of petty, juvenile insults and you have the higher moral ground. The only thing more pathetic than anyone taking insults on an internet forum to heart is the idea of mods infracting people for "pointless remarks". it's surely just a catch-all title for the rather insecure managers of this site to infract anyone they don't like. It's all pointless, especially most of the stuff that's on-topic. Dune posts extremist opinions in an antagonistic way because he enjoys the reaction, inviting the insults almost, but he doesn't complain because it's all part of the game for him. It's always those slinging insults that come out looking like the losers. Odd that people are posting generalising, condescending comments about "the lefties" and their petty insults completely unaware that they are indulging in exactly the same thing. SWF isn't exactly the home of the self-aware is it?

deppo robsk (before he disappeared) Dune and a few others seem to often insult BTF, Verbal, Supermikey, buctootim (whatever happened to him?). I don't see the problem, really, people should be able to absorb an internet insult.

Dune is right. Right wing is good. Left wing is bad and we should be softer on crime.

I know a player who is a regular in the Championship and used to help with training his school team. He was always an excellent player, strong and intelligent, but there was another player who was streets ahead in terms of talent. He now works in a factory as he never grew much and all of the local teams rejected him for his size. Just 5 years ago he was a far better player than the one who now rarely misses a championship game when fit and topped the OPTA stats for a large part of last season.
