I put down a plastic sheet (but this was on a concrete floor), a roll of thick card/paper stuff for insulation, and some thick tiles that help with insulation and noise reduction. You don't need all of that but it was very cheap and easy so it seemed silly not to. Laminate flooring is very easy to put down, but can be quite fragile around the edges of the boards. They'll take a big whack without damage on the flat surface, but can easily chip if they got knocked on the ends while you're fitting them. After the first couple of rows, which you'll probably end up pulling up and doing again, you get the hang of it and then it goes really fast.

I wouldn't mind being shut out on match days, I would just use my alternative "Dune" log-in, which I normally just keep for satirical political wind-ups. I play the "Dune" character to make right wing politics seem as unpalatable and and odious as I can to help push the SWF readership further to the left. How am I doing?

Yeah, talk about luck! How many **** teams can they draw?

Yep, Murray has lost this by doing badly in the first set, just like England lost the Ashes by doing badly in their first innings.

Forum toady vs forum-spamming-attention-whore At least Dune has some comedy value as a sort of caricature I s'pose, he sort of drums up more support for his own opposition. Hypo's just a slimy, humourless post-reporter.

Stop wringing yor hands and being such a weedy girly, Dune.

wow, utterly humiliating wimp out from Dune. When it came down to putting up or shutting up, he had no balls at all. I think that goes to show how seriously we can take most of his assertions here. He's full of strong comments, but wouldn't really want any of his proposed policies carried out.

Obviously i didn't see it, but the Solent commentators called it as a blatant dive before the ref had even booked him.

Loans seem perfect for our position right now. We want players to add to our team, but it's silly to buy now, when we'd be able to attract far better when we go up than we can now. We've clearly been pretty shrewd with loans this season as we've wanted to buy both the ones we had.

If you really think we don't need to buy...

I understand your point, but which position on the pitch do you think we could currently guarantee a starting place to someone for? Maybe centre-back, or if it was a very good signing, centre midfield, but otherwise, any big money signing would know they stood a danger of being on the bench in league one, if they found that an attractive move, I'd be surprised. -

I think the thing here is that it's very different to say "We should sign Ryan Harley/Austin" or whoever else seems to be a valuable addition to the squad for the future, which most people would agree with, including Turkish, I'm sure, and saying "we need cover in case of injuries or suspensions" which implies bringing in more league one squad players and would be a bad move. We have league one level cover for all positions already, they're not great players, but that's why they're reserves for a league one club. it's very unlikely we'll catch another Fonte or Lambert, both of whom have had guaranteed first team places since they arrived. -
Without a doubt. I used to speak reasonable German, but since I started speaking Norwegian, I can't speak German at all. I can speak Norwegian and I can read Danish, because written, it's about the same (can't speak it or understand much when they talk though). I can also understand a bit of Swedish as it's similar, but when I travel to Sweden, I'm better off talking in English than the mish-mash of bad Swedish and Norwegian I tried there at first.

What we need are more players who would be willing to sign to just act as back-up in a league one squad. That way when we go up we will have a nice big squad full of league one level players on nice new contracts, when we could be filling the squad with new Championship level players who would be willing to move to us by then. -
This is all a bit obvious. The enjoyment of anal for women is almost entirely because of the psychological side of it. it's naughty so it's exciting, and if a woman's excited by the idea of something, then just about anything can make her come. However, after a a while it's less exciting simply because it's not so forbidden and naughty anymore, just another bit of the sexual repertoire. Most women seem to like to try it, but they'll get bored of it unless you stimulate their mind at the same time because the physical side of anal just doesn't do it on its own.

"Its" doesn't take an apostrophe in the same way "his" or "hers" don't, it's a complete word in its own right.

If there's one person on this forum struggling with issues of repressed homosexuality, it's colbury.

Or you've just posted the ingredients of a different product.

Alpine, are you seriously saying on the one hand we should get rid of "deadwood" like Harding, and on the other saying we should be signing up players who would be willing to come and be back-up in case of injury in a league one club? Can't you see the irony there?
-
Sounds about right, they've said they want a sensible, sustainable structure, so they're not offering crazy wages. The players who want to sign for a league one club generally aren't worth taking up to the Championship and the players who are worth having there generally don't want to sign for a league one club. It's fair enough, we won't get too many players worth signing who would drop down or move sideways rather than up for our wage structure. If we go up, a whole new load of transfer options will open up to us, silly to have loaded up our squad with mediocrity before then.

When they went above us and had cash to spend and we were going under, history was more important, as we had been top flight for 27 years. Now they're going under and we are resurgent, history counts for nothing. What's more important is generally whatever makes saints come out looking best. if we now go on to win three league titles and a few cups before dropping away again, history will be important again.

Junction 9 works with this kind of thing and is usually happy to offer good rates to fellow Saints fans.
