Good call from Roy IMO, he has been excellent in the (admittedly few) games he's played for England.

I don't think there is any doubt that he will go to the Euros. A superb signing for us and for him, he has resurrected his career by signing for Saints.

I just hope we can take this good form into the new season like Leicester did.

Well FWIW I think Leicester have been magnificent this season and fully deserve to win the title. Yes, they have been fortunate in that all the big clubs have been so poor but that have done it by playing decent football and without flashing the cash like so many other clubs. Good luck to them, I hope they win it.

Personally I'd like to see Wilshire back to form and fitness and in the team alongside Dier. He has been excellent in recent games for England playing in a deep role. Rooney IMO also has to go, maybe not start but he is the captain and looked up to by all the younger players, you need his experience. Hart Clyne Stones Smalling Bertrand Wilshire Dier Alli Sterling Kane Vardy All dependant upon form and fitness of course, formation can switch to 4-1-3-2 when necessary.

I wouldn't rule anything out in this of all seasons.

Not really, we'll have a relegation scrap to fight for.

Last season we replaced the departed players with ones that were generally as good as if not better. This season all of the replacements have not been anywhere near as good. We look less solid at the back and still have the problem we had last season where we fail to take our chances. IMO we are not yet in a relegation battle but if we do not get some points in the next few games then we will be.
