Ozzies letting the side down. They need to up their game or they'll get booted out of the vaccine, death-injection, population control gang. Someone really needs to remind them that this whole endeavour won't work unless they get people injected. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-57661144 On a less idiotic note, I'm actually finding this increasingly psychologically difficult. The lockdown etc. obviously sucked but didn't have a huge impact on me personally for various reasons. It's very clear now though that it will be many years before we get even close to "normal". We will need boosters and we will have lots of variants for years to come and that will impact various things, not least travel. The impacts will be taken as validation by the dumb-ass groups that they were right all along and there's some plan afoot, and this whole situation will contribute to the societal malaise that political opportunists and online echo chambers are creating. That's assuming war doesn't break out with China. I'm feeling the outlook is bleak.

As usual the pundits are going well over the top. We were ok but nothing special. Sterling very good. That said, we avoid Belgium/Italy/Spain until the final so we won’t need to be brilliant to get there. Real chance to grind out a trophy.

Stephens over Tadic?

The point would be not to get relegated?

She converted it to equity when she owned 100%, I recall. Therefore didn't gain anything as a result. To the extent that the money improved the value of the club then, yeah, in theory she would get more back down the line but that's very tenuous in a business as viccisitudinous as football. For all intents and purposes she wrote the debt off.

Sobering stuff and let's hope he makes a full recovery. Still, got to lol reading back this thread.... "That's the tournament over. Oh, they're finishing the match." [Not having a go at anyone. I know it looked bad.]

Couldn't believe the way Che got dropped, whilst in form and having been consistently good all season. It seemed to be based on Redmond managing a good game against Bournemouth. Che is an underrated player. He lacks the killer instinct and yard of movement in the box to be prolific but his all round game is excellent and we generally played better when he was in the team.

Harry Kane had four loans before he got his chance for Spurs. It would be silly to let him go cheaply, IMO. As others have said, he's not 25, he's only 20. If he's happy to sign an extension then get him on loan to the Champ for a season and see how he does. He's got raw attributes but needs to show he can apply himself mentally over a season and dig in for a team when needed.

It's obvious, and unbelievably significant, but not worth the hassle of a forum post. Just use your loaf!

I have never seen anything that substantiated Markus' alleged 3bn net worth. Seemed based on a misunderstanding of his share of the Liebherr family business. No doubt he was wealthy and had tens of millions liquid funds, but 3bn has always seemed pie in the sky stuff. Mali always seemed like a rich-man's hobby, rather than a valuable asset - if it was a solid, profit-generating business, it wouldn't have been wound up so abruptly after Markus passed Likewise, there is not a single verifiable public source of Gao's wealth, as far as I am aware.

My main gripe is that Mings is shit and Maguire is injured, so we've got two wasted squad places. Plus JWP is better than Phillips. So, I think he's unlucky to miss out on the squad, although he wouldn't play much if Rice and Henderson are fit anyway and at least he gets a rest.

Lol. It was a big old dive, quite clearly.

Supporting the players in taking the knee

Well most of the booers are at least intelligent enough to realise that they have to tread very carefully. As with most things, the reality is that there will be a few people who think this is great and needs to be rapturously supported (to the point of "reporting" anyone visibly disagreeing - fucking hell!), a few people who get wound up by complicated thoughts but know they can't just say "I've had enough of these blacks" so need to try various sub-GCSE attempts at rationalising their own impotent anger, and the vast majority who probably think the spirit is laudable but the execution has become somewhat ineffective but really aren't going to get worked up one way or the other. -
It was reported in press articles that he was on 150k at Everton and agreed to accept 75k here. That's 7.8m wages and transfer fee in total over the two years so much cheaper than signing someone for a fee of, say, 12 million and paying them 50k a week, but clearly there's no potential resale upside.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Otherwise he'd have to get bummed by a priest. -
Cheers mush.

Still, good news now that a cup of bleach a day is starting to get the situation under control.
