Agreed. Romeu and Lemina with Hojbjerg in front or Lemina and Hojbjerg with Armstrong in front. Get a grip on the game. Redmond and Mo/Long on the wings with Ings up top.

Has anyone here ever got caught up in a proper dust-up? What happened? Did things escalate? Did anyone get their fingers cut off and body chopped up by mistake?

Thinking about it though, does this mean he's in some sort of financial bovver? I know he's a shameless grasper but, seriously, why would you do that at his age (and with his arthritic knees) if you weren't somehow desperate?

Their second album was a big let-down.

Hope the c-unt dies.

Pardew smashed his wife though. Orgy with Fonte's bird and Kevin Phillips wife. Les served his revenge cold as ice.

I think he means don't have a physical border. There is a school of thought you can apply tariffs without border infrastructure e.g. rely on declarations after the event (in the absence of technological solution). At least that's what I think he means. Not sure how well that would work, mind. At least there are fewer berets imported into Norn Irn nowadays.

Half of our "shots" are Shane Long's first touches anyway so it's misleading.

I've got nothing against Bednarek but it's an odd signing. He barely got a look in until we had some injuries and went to 3 at the back last season. We've subsequently signed Vestergaard and now tend to play 4 at the back so he's unlikely to play much this season. There's just no need for a Premier League club to be signing players in their 20s who can't make an impact on the first XI unless you're just desperate for cover (which we're not, we've got plenty of CBs). He might improve to the level of Yoshida, for example, but he's never going to be Lovren, Aldeweireld, van Dijk or even prime Fonte, so it's a retrograde signing.

Whilst some fans were planks when it came to Puel, he wasn't sacked because of fan sentiment. He was sacked because some of our players hated him and the dressing room atmosphere was bad. As Ericb says, maybe that was the wrong call because the squad still seems to be in a bad place, mentally, but it's easier to replace a manager than a bunch of players so I can see why we got rid. The real problem was the dire appointment of Pellegrino, compounded with the Van Dijk situation and the wasted money on Carillo, Hoedt, Forster, Bednarek, Boufal and not reacting soon enough when it became clear that Pellegrino was out of his depth.

I make it that he's had 16 Premier League games as our boss and we've won 3 of them.

Vagina's o.g. was claasssss.

Leganes average player salary last season was about 10k a week and Celta Vigo's was about 20k so I expect it's very much "part", but fair point.

No. Tommac was one of the numpty middlemen in the fictitious deal.

He's finally hit the Start button.

I think Ian Beale did this once?

I was watching a bit of Barnsley v Luton the other day and apparently Barnsley have a Chinese "billionaire" owner too. Basically, the "English football league" is dead. I also recall watching half and half bedecked, grinning simpletons in the home end at Old Trafford posing for selfies with Lucas Moura this season after Spurs trousered them at home. I think this will be last season with an ST.

Bring Puel back in to steady the ship? It would require some people to swallow their pride but it's the smart move.

Our basic model of signing players who are likely to appreciate in value and want to impress other clubs is sound. Teams like West Brom and Sunderland got into trouble because their squads were packed with aging average players that they couldn't sell to reinvest. However, it's clear that the current first team has problems with holding on to leads and I think part of that is down to leadership and mental toughness. If we can sign a couple of players with the attributes to fix that then we should, whether they are 22 or 32. With the money available in the PL, not everyone has to have resale value and when you are flirting with relegation then it's a false economy to focus exclusively on long term.

Saw one of your films the other day and I have to say, I was impressed with your stamina. The way that guy was going at it but you kept a stiff upper lip and dealt with it stoically and, for the most part, with some dignity.

Can he play right back? Lolzz.

Yeah, Bennett actually became OK. Davenport was ****e and remained ****e. Anyway what's Allaedine Yahia up to?

What could be better than a home kick off at 13:30 on a Sunday? Rejoice! -
