I think we will beat Derby and Reading. I would happily take 4 points from the home games.
As you say, 8 points would be a very good return, given that it is a relatively tough run of games and would probably still see us top.
I would like to beat Palace but I imagine we will put out a second string that may include the likes of Jaidi and Barnard recoeperating from injury so much may depend on the strength of the Palace team fielded.
But assuming that no one performs to the average second place level this season other than the team which wins the league is stupid. If a team gets slightly more than the average third place level it is a reasonable expectation that two teams will finish above them - they might not, but they probably will.
Your logic is flawed.
This need be the last post on the subject as it is correct.
It's shame if there is a lot of red tape involved but, provided the thing is rolled out for important games, I think that is a satisfactory response with respect to how often the flag is unfurled. Shame it apparently took a long time to come.
No, I'm sure they wouldn't and there's no sensible reason why they should. It just has a strikingly outlandish feel to it. Also, physiologically, a rape on a man is likely to be necessarily somewhat unpleasant.
Rape against anyone is terrible.
Cork hit a volley when a cross fell to him (maybe from a corner?). It hit the defender, squirmed through to the keeper who booted up the pitch and they scored. We were appealing for handball.
I personally thought there was a foul in the build-up to their second goal too.
He generally had a better game than Fonte.
Lambert, Schneiderlin and Chaplow are just as much to "blame" for any defeat for failing to convert good chances.
Hooiveld had a much better game than Lallana and Connolly who were both carp.
He looked very assured again yesterday. Won plenty of headers. Good first touch. Decent passing. Decent positioning.
Not sure what more people expect? Ferdinand, Sammer, Beckenbauer, Moore?
