The booing during play doesn't help. By all means boo at HT and FT if necessary.
-
Not the best choice of gif, considering that virtually everything that comes out of the orange Dotard's mouth is a lie.

A period of 5 minutes was the difference between dead and having a fighting chance.

Don't count out Leicester.

Amateurish then doesn't mean having to go back to being amateurish now. Back then it was even worse, 0 points for both teams if a match was abandoned without a ball being bowled (cost Hants the championship). That stupidity was rectified. And when the league was split they had a balanced schedule, so an uneven schedule was ended too. Why go back to it, especially now we have relegation. Imagine last season one team playing Essex and Somerset only once and Notts twice, and another team having it the other way around. Yes Div 2 had an unbalanced schedule when they had 10 teams, but there is no relegation so it was not quite as bad. Still, it should've been balanced too.

Didn't we once have a player who was out for a while because he dropped a bottle of salad cream on his foot?
-
I'm British and I don't understand why they can't play 18 matches.

Fixtures are out: https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/50549193 What a joke. Hants only play Lancs, Northants, Essex and Surrey once. An amateurish way to run a professional sport.

And not get relegated. Oh wait, that'll mean no Markus and we'll still have the ruddy-cheeked bastard in charge. But then again, no Gao. My head hurts .... -
Bless him, he's found his level. "A revolutionary new coaching set up." - The Ruddy-cheeked Bastard.

If we win the first 5 our tails will be up and out of the bottom 3, and then I'd fancy our chances of getting a point at Stamford bridge.
-
It certainly did at the time. But it was before our second goal. If he had scored, the rest of the match would've been different, and there's no way of knowing if we'd got a third goal (butterfly effect, innit). It would be more sickening if it had happened after the penalty.

This. It reminds me of the Everton and Boro 2-2 capitulations of the 2004/5 relegation season. I'm getting the same sense of doom. Norwich winning today doesn't help with my mood. Yes Bertrand was very good, PEH a waste of space.
-
That obviously refers to performance not score. We missed at least 4 sitters.
-
Yes "non performers" who could've beaten Arsenal by 4 goals. Poor finishing yes, but "non performers" don't rip a big 6 team to shreds at their place.
-
Yes

I can give you one.

PEH aside, not bad overall. Arsenal are poor and there for the taking. PEH is awful. Replace him with Djenepo or Boufal. Or at least Romeu if we want to settle for the draw.

Adam Leitch leaving the Echo after 17.5 years...
Dark Munster replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
I'm sure he will. He'll have a lot to write about: 16 managers in 17 years. -
Me too. It would be funny if we weren't in much worse shape.
-
You give him too much credit. Mitchell and the Spurs scouts brought in great talent at bargain prices, not to mention world class players like Kane through the youth (who Poch only played due to injuries to others). Despite Spurs not overspending like West Ham, etc. Poch had the luxury of a squad filled with brilliant players from front to back. Despite that in five years he won **** all. A good manager, no more. Vastly overrated by many here. Mind you, bringing in the "special one" will only end in tears (for Spurs, not Jose who'll probably get another nice payoff when he's sacked).
-
We could do worse. Pulis never gets relegated. He probably thinks the loser of our upcoming match against West Ham will be the one he can take over. As many have noted, he is good with the right assistant. But without Rohl he appears to be Laurel without Hardy.

A LB at LB, and a RB at RB? Are you mad?
