Unless they dump him after promotion, like we did with Sharp. Talking of defectors, has the Donkey scored a goal yet this season?
-
She didn't know he was dodgy? He initially failed the EPL's F&PPT, FFS!

You almost had me there. http://www.celticfc.net/news/14113

If he gets injured we're ****ed.
-
I suggest a trade with Celtic. We give them FF, Dave "nice hair" Watson and Kelvin, and we get whoever their GK coach is.

Good points. I've been saying for years we need a goal scoring target man. A Pelle replacement. It would lift the whole team. Note to Shane Long: "goal scoring". Cheers Fish (although you may need to rethink that name on this forum, we're not keen on a certain type of fish). Despite the depressing negative posts here I thought we played ok, and no one had a bad game (yes, including Cedric). If we'd got a deserved draw or win it would probably be all peaches and roses here.

Consistency was even worse before VAR. It does have teething problems, but give it time.

City have given up, but Leicester could keep it interesting. They are on fire and don't have CL distractions.

I keep thinking back to the end of the season before last, us being only 3 points ahead of Swansea going into our last match against City, and them at home to Stoke. But we knew we were safe because we had something like a +9 goal difference to them. I hope we aren't on the other side of that this time. Having said that, a horrific goal difference is only a 0.5 point penalty. Losing at home to the likes of Bournemouth is a lot more damaging.
-
Why not? They regularly have over 50,000 attendance (although down to "only" 46,000 this year). Pretty impressive support for a team that wins **** all.
-
2-0 ... the most dangerous lead. If we don't win I'll blame Bertie for getting that second!
-
Agreed. Attack is the best form of defence for us.
-
Six years and still not found. I'm beginning to fear the worst.

They may deserve it, and as a paying customer you have the right to boo during play. But I reckon they'll more likely to play better without their home crowd on their back, and instead have loud support every time they go forward. There's a reason why teams usually have a better home record than away. And if they're still shit despite the support give them both barrels at HT and/or FT!
-
Yes indeed, as some of us have been saying since Pelle left. Adam's doesn't fill that gaping hole.
-
That's a massive positive when compared to the likes of Lemina and that Osvaldo nutter.
-
While we're at it, OR or SA for PEH.
-
And Danny, if you're reading this, please stop sliding on your knees when you celebrate your goals. Ta!
-
Yes indeed. The questions were about the large fee for someone with a horrific injury record. And his problems last season didn't put those concerns to rest. I don't remember any "dickheads" who questioned his ability. IF he continues to stay fit then it will have been a good gamble that paid off.
-
But they (rightly) don't do that in the PL, which is why we got away with it. If they'd done a Women's WC type VAR analysis we would've waited 3 minutes before having the goal disallowed. And I think the point of the new rule is to avoid having a long deliberation if an attacking handball is intentional or not. Handball, yes or no? 10 second VAR check and it's done one way or the other.

The booing during play doesn't help. By all means boo at HT and FT if necessary.
-
Not the best choice of gif, considering that virtually everything that comes out of the orange Dotard's mouth is a lie.
-
A period of 5 minutes was the difference between dead and having a fighting chance.

Don't count out Leicester.
