  1. Which means apart from finishing we were playing well! Chin up, we're not great but not that bad. If we start losing at home to the likes of Norwich and Sheff Utd you can sharpen the razor blades!
  2. That ship has sailed. But he's exactly the type of player we've needed since ... um, he left.
  3. They will be flat and I think they could be in for a hammering. If Wolves smell blood, and they are bouncing at the moment off the back of recent results, then they could win comfortably. They will go about their business and dispatch Southampton with ease. CHARLIE PREDICTS: 3-0 Nice one Charlie.
  4. The road is our new home.
  5. I presume your belief we're going down is based on having lost the previous 3 matches. If this had been the first match of the season I bet most here would've been pretty happy with today's performance and looking forward to a decent season.
  6. Exactly this. The PL rightly wants to avoid the women's WC VAR fiasco, and not have 3 minute delays to analyse things to the tiniest details. Unless it's a clear and obvious error the ref's decision stands. VAR did great today (again).
  7. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
  8. A lot of negativity here. We've played decent so far, more than matched an in-form Wolves, with some superb forward passes (even one by Vestergaard!). If the boys can keep it up in the second half they'll deserve at least a draw. Can we play away from home every week?
  9. It's a delayed injury (if/when he comes back to us).
  10. Cheer up, it could be a lot worse.
  11. Lord Trousers must be on holiday. His postings per day is starting to slip, so he has some work to do when he gets back.
  12. Just like last year, eh?
  13. So far so good. Say aisatsu to your son.
  14. VVD had ties to us by recently signing a bumper 5 year contract. Of course no one expected him to stay for that long, but if he'd done a Morgan and given us one more year without downing tools then fair play. Same with that **** Lamina.
  15. Indeed. And it's not like the big boys were knocking at our door for him. Shame he couldn't have this attitude: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49966966
  16. The Donkey definitely. But I don't think we knew the other two were as bad as they are.
  17. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49966966 Shame VVD didn't have this attitude. Although in fairness Zaha did have 2 years at United and flopped, so maybe that's part of the reason he's knuckling down and getting on with it.
  18. It'll be worse than 2005, it'll be a financial disaster. And most likely no new Markus to save us. Anyone who thinks relegation would be a chance to clear out the dross and build from scratch is deluded. We'll lose all the semi-decent players, and be left with the overpaid crap until their wages put us into administration. After that any decent young players coming through will be snapped up in nanoseconds (remember Bale and Walcott?)
  19. If they do prise him away from us I hope we make them break the bank to be adequately compensated.
  20. That was more forgivable, since he has the talent and the club can still get most of their money back. But as for the other four..... 66m FFS
  21. Has Poch been hired by Real Madrid yet?
  22. It probably didn't help that Spurs were singing our song.
  23. So that's why he doesn't jump.
