  1. Probably not much. Latest from physio room: Mar 02: "We know the issue we have got. Unfortunately, we can't seem to get him right. It is nothing to do with his ankle. It is frustrating but we hope he is back in the next couple of weeks."
  2. His first league goal of the season, I believe. Give enough donkeys enough footballs ....
  3. Andy Carroll is just back from injury it seems. So off the bench to get a couple of headed goals, and then go off injured again for 6 months?
  4. Depends if we've lost our previous match.
  5. Even if they are, the fans are seated so far away at their stadium that their players won't even notice. Edit: MLG beat me to it.
  6. Knowing our luck he'll be fit by the time we play Newcastle, and provide the cross for Carroll's headed winning goal.
  7. Yes indeed. You can bet your house on it.
  8. So are Liverpool, apparently.
  9. Sorry, I thought this was the Newcastle build up thread. Carry on.
  10. Andy Carroll is just back from injury it seems. So off the bench to get a couple of headed goals, and then go off injured again for 6 months?
  11. If they were level or a goal up I could at least understand his antics at time wasting. But they were a goal down at that time. Bizarre.
  12. And Leganes started with 10 men.
  13. JWP fantastic. Stephens and Long very good. Ings quiet for some reason. Smallbone nice PL debut. Djenepo very exciting, and a great run and cut back to Long's penis. Adam's tidy, and a perfect pass to Armstrong (who had a good game too). Obafemi not as bad as some are saying (apart from that stupid shot). But needs to lose weight, looks like he may give Shipperley a run for his money when he gets older (pie-wise I mean, not that other thing). Villa utter shite.
  14. Then why do most teams throughout history have better home records than away?
  15. I think £41 a year would be well within the FFP limits. But he may want a bit more.
  16. So if this thread gets closed will a new one appear called "RH contract thread - why is it 'closed'? thread - why is it closed" ?
  17. Henderson's to Salah against us was even better I think. A thing of real beauty was our second goal. Brilliant run and pass by Redmond and superb finish by Ings.
  18. Yes, but the difference is that for the last few seasons we've often deserved to lose from winning positions due to mistakes. Since the 0-9 there's been a huge turn around mentally and we haven't been doing that. Tonight we didn't deserve to lose. The problem now is with JWP and Cedric out the good league form may not continue. Thankfully the run in fixtures look good.
  19. He'll be back from injury soon.
  20. Sorry, that's rubbish. Their first was a jammy deflection, their second was a superb finish (like Ings' was), and the third doesn't need describing further.
  21. Just when I thought I couldn't hate Spurs more. I have 14 teams to support in the Cup now. Whoever plays them, and whoever plays the Skates.
  22. Strange not to have McCarthy on the bench, just in case. Hope Djenepo doesn't have Valery's virus.
  23. Yes, so I would swap PEH to RB and keep JWP in midfield. I think PEH played RB against City earlier this season and didn't do too badly.
  24. Sampampton. Good luck Yoshi. Model pro.
  25. I doubt it. Fortunately Ralph is the manager now, not zero-trophy Poch.
