It looks like they're working hard at it. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50288398

I can't see one of the top clubs in the world hiring a manager who just lost 0-9 at home.

[h=3]https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50228375[/h][h=3]Man of the match - Mohamed Elyounoussi[/h]BBC Scotland's Brian McLauchlin at Hampden Kamberi made a positive impact for Hibs when he came on and was by far the most effective player for the Easter Road club, but his performance did not compare with several by Celtic players. Forrest, Brown and Tom Rogic barely put a foot wrong, and when you add the terrific abilities shown by Edouard, the Parkhead club were always in command. But the award must go to Norwegian Elyounoussi, who put in his best performance since joining the club. If Lennon can somehow persuade the powers at be to make the deal permanent, Celtic will have a talent that is rarely seen in the Scottish game. Come on Celtic's powers to be, you know it make sense.

Why all the hatred for the Scousers' win? Villa losing only helps us in the relegation battle.

Much easier to release and replace 14 players from a lower division German league, who are paid peanuts, than dross on bloated PL wages.
-
Yes he does. Goal difference could be crucial for them in their attempt to finish above Liverpool.

Agreed 100% that Rohl needs replacing, but don't think it's the club that needs to address this. As I've said elsewhere I think this is up to Ralph. He's the reason Rohl left, and I'm sure the club would be happy to bring in a replacement if Ralph wants one. The ball's in Ralph's court.
-
And Adam's.
-
Good question. But it's possible the club isn't to blame. According to Adam Leitch they are doing everything to keep Ralph happy, so if he wanted and identified a new assistant manager I believe they would be happy to oblige. I think maybe Ralph was getting arrogant about his ability to do things by himself. If there's a silver lining about the Leicester debacle is that surely it has been punctured, and he will now be more open to a Rohl replacement coming in to help him. Of course easier said than done in finding the right person, and definitely not amongst the current staff. Maybe one the 2 ex-Nigel managers? We could do worse.
-
Fingers crossed. That there won't be.

What's Nigel Pearson up to nowadays?

Finally the Clown gets his first win. Oh wait ....

In a rare interview our "flamboyant" owner made it clear that he had bought a self-fattening pig. Or so he thought at the time. I think he may be thinking differently now. No rude Kat jokes please.
-
Because relegation will cost him exponentially more. Anyway, the horse bolted when the summer window closed. As others have said, it's unlikely we'd get the players we need during the January window (unless he spends an obscene amount, which of course he wouldn't be able to do anyway).
-
A goal scoring CF and an experienced CB leader were/are both desperately needed. Once again the club failed on both counts.
-
I was wondering if Rohl walked because the club was treating only Ralph as the hero, maybe giving him a huge bonus, and not offering anything to him (Rohl)? Maybe the ruck was that Ralph didn't back Rohl up on this?

You're not being racist, but when "chinaman" is included in a negative description of someone, the two can get intertwined. I doubt anyone would be offended if I said my neighbour is a chinaman who cooks a fantastic chow mein. I suggest "he's potless ****ing arsehole" as being less likely to offend. HTH

I'm sure they were very worried about last night's disaster. They'll be shitting bricks about getting relegated and the resulting millions they'll lose.
-
What I love about hockey is there's no relegation. In fact the bottom teams are rewarded with high draft picks. Why can't they do that with football?
-
Unlikely with the lineup. 2 at most for me. Problem is, I can't see us scoring more than 1.
-
Yes and no. Great save at the end, but he did a Kelvin on Lazio's goal.

I would say so, mainly because it was so bloody obvious to anyone with half a brain that he was useless. -

They may have money but I doubt any of them are that stupid. -
Wow, talking about biting the hand that feeds you!
