Wouldn't you then have to infract yourself?

We need someone like him now (actually 2 years ago). If not, by the summer it could be too late and we could be down. Gabbi looks like he's on his way out, Ings is reportedly injured again (as are the kids, and we can't rely on them anyway), Austin is a part time player, and the less said about Long the better.

Manolo Gabbiadini: Joins Sampdoria - Official

Good summary. In addition to him suffering from appalling managers, he also (as did the rest of the team) struggled without a Rickie/Pelle type partner up front. It would be better to keep him and bring in such a player, but that won't happen since they need to sell him for transfer funds. That's what happens when a fortune has been squandered on Moi, Hoedt, Vestergaard, and the Donkey, along with the Clown and Hughes payoffs. Edit: Forgot to add Boufal to that list. -
Agree with most of that, except I think Austin can still play a role as a last 20 minute sub. He should never start again. Moi and Long can piss off. Moi, Hoedt, Vestergaard and the Donkey. How much money wasted on that dross??? Not to mention the Clown and Hughes payoffs. Thanks Les.

Is it time to give Angus Gunn a run in the PL

Great to have a manager at long last that thinks. -
That's a bit of an understatement, his throw ins are bloody awful. But yes, something that can be worked on.
-
Rickie and Pelle weren't fast, but they could hold the ball up, and find the back of the net. That's what we desperately need, and have done so since Pelle left.
-
Me too. Pass me the bucket please.

We have higher priorities than a DM.

If Gabbi goes who do we have that can regularly score goals? Ings' fitness is dodgy, Austin is just dodgy, Long a joke, and the rest kids. IMO if it's Gabbi, WH, Davis and Cedric out, and 3 in, we need (in order): CF (who can score regularly), RB and CB (experienced leader type).

Yes indeed. Getting 1 point total from the Burnley, Fulham and Cardiff matches is a big reason we're on the precipice. Even if all 3 had just been draws we'd be 4 points better off with the last 2, and 2 better off with Burnley.

His earlier red (for the dive) was a second yellow. I can understand if that one was also was a straight red, that it would add one extra to his 3 match ban, but why should a 2 yellow sending off add an extra match ban now? He's already done his time for that offense, and it's not a case of ongoing violent (straight red) conduct.

Remind me, how many Schlongs did he cost us?
-
He didn't go on strike with us.

Terrible piece of business, it was obvious to many of us that we undersold. Should've kept him for one more year, and sold him with one year left. He wasn't doing a VVD, but Les was in a hurry.

Ok, only 3 more wins needed?

Or maybe DaveWatsonitus? Surprised that disease hasn't been mentioned yet. -
Saints 1 West Ham 2 - Post Match Reality Check

From a quick Google search I see he's eligible for ROI and England, with the former trying to lock him up. Over to you Southgate, don't let them nick him. -

I can't blame McCarthy for either goal, both well-taken. Agreed about the rugby tackle. -

Disappointing. Shows the squad needs strengthening. Credit to West Ham who played well, rather than us being that bad. -
In the board's defense, Reed brought in the Clown, and stuck with him for months after he should've been given the boot, and on top of that let him spend almost £20 million to bring in his favourite donkey. Throw in the Forster contract, and other fiascos, and you can't blame them for not trusting him again. Having said that, giving Hughes a 3 year contract wasn't the brightest thing to do.

Apart from the last sentence I'd agree with most of that. You can't argue with Liverpool's immense history. If it wasn't for Lovren and VVD I wouldn't mind them winning it. But even with those two bastards, it would be better them winning it than bloody Spurs.

Mick Channon, what a player as well!

Bugger. He'll score his obligatory goal or two against us, and then get injured for another 3 months.
