  1. Calling Lord T and his laughing gif.
  2. Yes, normally you can count on at least 2 of the 3 promoted teams to struggle, but all three this year look organised and very well managed. It's not inconceivable for all three to survive. Burnley and Watford look better than they were last year, Leicester have too much quality, and WBA have Pulis who never gets relegated. Everton have had a bastard fixture list to start, and probably won't be in any danger (with or without RK!). And unlike the shambles when under Saggy, we're probably too good defensively to get sucked in. So if the above do survive, the ones left are Swansea, West Ham, Stoke, Bournemouth and Palace. Not particularly good teams, but not appalling either (except maybe Palace). Only Palace look like a team who could be miles adrift by the end of the season, but even they managed to beat last year's champions. I reckon Palace and Swansea will go down, but I think it'll be a dogfight to avoid the 3rd spot.
  3. This, in a nutshell.

  5. Almost, although a Spurs win is always a fly in the ointment. If ever there was a stereotypical desired mass-brawl game, 10 players sent off, both teams deducted 3 points, it's Spurs v. Liverpool.
  6. Sofie's or Madonna's? Sofie's for me.
  7. Shorter I think. More like "**** you!"
  8. Plus having Gabbi available for the whole season. Plus no Thursday European matches. Plus (now) no League cup matches.
  9. Yes, IF we had a half-decent gk coach.
  10. I think we should be patient, and wait for him to finish eighth and get to a cup final before sacking him.
  11. Apart from Br*nf**t, Gray, Wigley, Saggy, Poortvliet, Wotte, Wilkins, Gorman/Dodd, and that overrated tosspot Souness.
  12. ... Reed sold Mane, Pelle and Big Vic without adequately replacing them.
  13. Repeating the same bollocks doesn't make it right.
  14. Taking into account inflation, £30m = 1 Schlong nowadays.
  15. No, the sale of Mane, Pelle and Big Vic (without adequate replacements) killed our mojo. Despite that, Puel got us to a cup final, no goals conceded, all against PL clubs, and we deserved to win.
  16. And with Aguero on the bench.
  17. Scoring 7 with Aguero on the bench.
  18. Yes, sums up the current problems very well. Also agreed with this part: "Puel was not the problem, then."
  19. Maybe after a few drinks they'll be drunk enough to not worry about the cover-up ban. Oh wait, alcohol is banned too.
  20. At least we have Qatar to look forward to. Apart from the stadium slave labourer deaths, playing in the "winter" to avoid 120 degree heat, terrorism, and a host nation ranked at about 180th that has never played in a WC, it's the perfect choice.
  21. Their game today is hardly a meaningless dead rubber.
  22. Now that the excitement of England's thrilling WC qualification is over, we can concentrate on the mundane PL. Gabbi for Redmond, will it ever happen? Can we score more than 0 goals? So many questions.
