  1. So, what about Leicester winning the UCL? Does it impact 7th qualification? In a word, no. It doesn't matter in the slightest if Leicester win the UCL or not. If they do win it, ENG get 5 UCL spots (4 + 1 extra) and our 3 UEL spots are not impacted.
  2. And yet another diabolical ref decision (in the Leicester-Athletico match) that could've been avoided with video technology.
  3. I may be wrong but I think "Puel is world class" was tongue in cheek. Regarding the top 4, I don't mind any of them, except Spurs of course. But they've got a top 2 place guaranteed (bastards). Hopefully Chelsea will keep MP and co. trophyless for another season.

    Yep.
  6. We finished above Chelsea last season.
  7. Les Reed and Caceres?
  8. For us, yes.
  9. Puel out!
  10. We're talking about managers, not players.
  11. That's a matter of opinion.
  12. He's got a squad loaded with talent, from front to back. Not that difficult to get them playing well. Looks like he'll win nothing again this year (although he does have a 1 in 4 chance at the FA cup). I'm more impressed with what Claude has achieved this year, considering all the injury setbacks and holes in the squad he had to deal with. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years we'll regard him (Claude) as the better manager. Of course my judgement may be clouded because I don't much like the slimy creep who manages a detestable club.
  13. Having said that, if he gets the boot from Everton in the next year or two I won't shed any tears.
  14. Poch is a slimeball, managing a nasty, slimy club. He did ok for us, but nothing special (also screwed up our golden FA cup chance), and buggered off at the first opportunity. I have 1000 times more respect for Ron who did very well for us.
  15. Here's a list of his trophies to date. Please let me know if I've missed any. .
  16. True, but Leicester's remarkable injury-free record started with him, and their fans give him a lot of credit for it.
  17. The club needs to take a long, hard look into how they handle (and prevent) injuries. Our track record over the last few seasons is appalling. Maybe they need to bring in someone who knows what they're doing in that regard. What's Nigel Pearson up to nowadays?
  18. Nail biting finish. Need 60 odd runs with 5 wickets left.
  19. That's the way I saw it too. And the ref as well it seems, who didn't book him for it.
  20. Redmond has been excellent.
  21. Welcome back to the first team Jordi!
  22. And if they go down on 42 points it would be even funnier.
  23. Also by Reed for his summer recruitment (lack of clinical striker) and the CB fiasco.
  24. Not so funny if someone buggers up their knee(s) doing it. Maybe I'm paranoid.
