  1. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40311889 Some of these look interesting. I like the clock stopping to eliminate time wasting. Very American, but much fairer.
  2. Looking at the depressing list of bookies favourites, we could do a lot worse.
  3. So has he packed his bags yet?
  4. Dear God, no!!!
  5. Me too. Then again, I was also against the Pardew and Adkins sackings, and thought Leicester were mad to sack Pearson after he turned it around for them. So what do I know?
  6. Yes indeed. I'm old enough to remember the Nicholl -> Br*nf**t debacle.
  7. This. The silver lining is Black has gone. Or has he?
  8. I completely agree. With your first sentence.
  9. Is that true? There's no excuse for a professional athlete being paid a fortune smoking that shit. (Ditto anything more than an occasional drink.)
  10. Well I for one am hoping the board issue a vote of confidence in Claude. That would certainly put my mind at rest.
  11. Is this going to be a sticky all summer?
  12. If that's true nearly everyone will be disappointed (except for Monk and his Mum).
  13. He seems like a decent intelligent young player.
  14. With only 8 teams and 2 going down, and not much to choose between most of them, it's not inconceivable that a team could go into the last match with a chance of being champions if they win, and relegated if they lose.
  15. 250 run partnership so far for Adams (102) and Ervine (157).
  16. Only 14 CC1 matches and they can't schedule Lions matches in between? Shows what a joke domestic cricket is. Also not allowing substitutes if someone is injured.
  17. Cheer up, if he goes to Liverpool it could've been much worse. ****ing Spurs.
  18. Sorry Les, you're wrong again.
  19. He's been a manager for decades. Any reports from France that he can't handle professional footballers?
  20. Stam has just called penalties a lottery. The same mentality that has made England such a force at penalty shoot outs.
  21. If that's true it says more about those players than it does about Claude.
  22. Sack a manager who is doing ok but is unpopular because he doesn't match up to his predecessor, and replace him with Reading's manager? It's deja vu all over again.
  23. Indeed. I like to think of us as the rational, thoughtful, intelligent, handsome/beautiful ones.
