  1. See post 91.
  2. Of course this could be Sir Ronnie's cunning plan, play Toby out of position to make him look ordinary, cooling the interests of the likes of Citeh etc., thereby increasing our chances of signing him permanently in the summer. The man's a genius.
  3. I agree with all of Mr Lighthouse's remarks. There are a lot of straw man from the naysayers, but there's no reason why this couldn't be done. Well one actually (to play Devil's advocate): this probably could only be afforded in the top leagues, so the lower level clubs (such as the Skates) would have to be left to do it the poor man's way without technology.
  4. 1-1 http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32523309 [insert Lawro abuse here]
  5. Me too. I was even going to put a z at the end of the ball.
  6. So, a 10 day ultimatum. That should be as successful as it was with Cork. Anyway, if he decides to go good luck to him. I agree with Redslo, Nathan will have fulfilled most of his contract and played well for us, and Saints will make good money if he leaves in the summer. I certainly will have much more respect for him than Lovren, Shaw and Chambers.
  7. I think he's referring to gravity.
  8. In fairness it could be the Vauxhall Conference again in 2017.

  10. I don't care if he's a DM. He's a bloody professional footballer who should've got at least 2 of those on target.
  11. For the umpteenth time, Luggy had nothing to do with our relegation (unless you count the two games he was in charge at the beginning of the relegation season, one win and one loss). Relegation was down to Saggy, Lowe and Wigley (in that order). Now if Glenda had been appointed instead of Wigley we may indeed have survived.
  12. Doesn't Lawro (and the bookies) know that Big Vic is out, Toby is touch and go, Nathan's head is in Manchester, Pelle currently couldn't score in a brothel, and we've got calamity Kelvin in goal?
  13. Great read that. Athletic Bilbao are now my favourite La Liga club. Other way around mate. If he had sodded off to join Liverpool or Man U he would've had more than 8 caps.
  14. Spurs a stunning beauty? More like an ugly cow but with lots of money.
  15. Saints 1 (Pelle) Spurs 1 (****ing Eriksen in the ****ing 88th minute)
  16. Without Toby, Nathan and Morgan?
  17. Better than Vince?
  18. 1-1. If tied does it go to extra time or straight to penalties?
  19. Nice to see so much success on the south coast. The future looks bright for so many teams here. With one notable exception.
  20. I think Lawro is stalking me for correct scores. I predicted 2-0 for the Burnley and Hull matches, and the old bastard copied me in both cases then also. If he keeps this up I may have to contact a lawyer.
  21. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32276357 Stoke v Southampton Southampton are ticking along quite nicely, just one point behind Liverpool. They will go above them with a draw or a win because the Reds have got their FA Cup semi-final this weekend. Koeman's Southampton side are sixth, five points behind Manchester City I've heard a lot about how Liverpool are the team hoping to nick fourth place if Manchester City's slump continues but Southampton should not be discounted in that race. If Saints can find the sort of form to finish the season they showed at the start of it, then they have got a chance - and it is a massive carrot for them. A win at the Britannia Stadium is never easy but Stoke have a few injury problems to deal with - Victor Moses is their latest player to be sidelined - and I am backing Southampton. Lawro's prediction: 1-2
  22. If you do I'll raise you 4-4.
  23. Fair enough. Stoke 1 Saints 3
  24. Must have been lonely being the only professional club at the beginning. I wonder what Notts County did back then, play with themselves every week? Anyway, back on topic. Only a moron predicts anything other than 1-0. Stoke 1 Saints 2.
  25. The Saints one is obviously more accurate.
