I hope so too! (I'll forgive the Mack-like spelling, he did well to get to a keyboard and actually type something coherent). Provided their memories aren't too short, the Bournemoth etc. members will remember the punishment their clubs received from the FL, and make sure Cheats FC's minus 10 is carried over to next season, to make it meaningful. Mind you, shame there isn't an ex-Luton chairman on board. That would make it even more fun.

Saints charged by FA for failing to control players vs Norwich
Dark Munster replied to patred44's topic in The Saints
Mind you, he gave Puncheon 90, which was rather generous. -
I can. QPR.

A huge result for the plucky phew against the mighty Bury. Two wins in a row! Who'd have thunk it! Only 8 points from safety. Sorry, let me rephrase that: only 8 points from avoiding having the -10 applied next year in L2. It's the hope that kills you, Skates.

Don't forget golfing with DP and his friend Tiger (assuming DP's back by then).

You'll have to be quick to arrange one. Only 57 more to go, which would make it about Monday. In fairness, it would be creating a bit of football history when they get kicked out of the league.

Great points, tajjuk. I should add that if they had been (rightly) relegated earlier they wouldn't have benefited from getting the larger parachute payments, which just happened to increase the very year they finally went down (those DCFSBs). Mind you, this epic thread would be about 1000 pages shorter, and I wouldn't be about to join the 1000-post nutjob club!

http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/8544492/norwich-value-on-crunch-saturday When I began researching this game, I did so expecting to confirm a suspicion that the prices are correct in making Norwich marginal favourites in a hard-to-call contest on the grounds that they're at home. However, closer inspection reveals information which I think makes the hosts worth a good bet at close to 6/4. For all the praise Southampton have received both before and since the departure of Nigel Adkins, they're won just two of their last 13 games in all competitions. That one of those was a superb 3-1 dismissal of current Premier League title holders Manchester City explains the media admiration for a side whose overall form doesn't entitle them to be just 2/1 to win at Norwich. Of particular concern to supporters must be Saturday's defeat to QPR, but the concession of four goals to Newcastle prior to that also rates a worry and Norwich have enough about them to contain easy-on-the-eye Southampton before pouncing for three points. The Canaries have played 11 Premier League games at Carrow Road since losing 5-2 to Liverpool in September, and they've won six of them. Yes, most came during a fine winter run but a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Everton last time could provide the platform for another. In addition, even when they've failed to win Norwich have still impressed, with narrow defeats to the likes of Chelsea and Man City plus a draw with Spurs. Put simply, over the last three months if you'd backed Norwich in games like this you'd be well in front and there's no reason not to do so at the price. Verdict: Norwich 2 Southampton 0

We learnt that from Injustices Mann and Whats-her-name. Anyway, it looks like my prediction of a February liquidation has been skittled by the mysterious £4 million increase in PPs. Looks like that pact they signed with the devil hasn't expired yet. Well, not until the yes-this-time-it's-really-the very-last PP in August. My 999th nutjob post. I've been keeping my powder dry this month, hoping my 1000th would coincide nicely with their demise, but to no avail. I don't think I can hold off posting for 6 months, so plan B is to do a trousers and post 999 more just before they go pop in August.

That's an image I need to get out of my head.

With him getting all 4?
-
Indeed, just like we did with him as manager when we went to Krap Nottarf. Oh...
-
No, hopefully not, you bastard.
-
And don't forget his infamous smile and thumbs up to Mad Milan after the Krap Nottarf capitulation.

A draw against the toon, and good rogering of Saggy's lot, and I'll be more than happy.
-
I wish them both a swift and full recovery. But not before Monday.
-
Manure and Arsenal had nothing to play for. It was an end of season friendly for both of them.
-
W5 D2 L6 = Mid-table form. FFS Dalek, stop confusing Luggy with Wigley. Appointing him was the disaster that began the big slide (finished off with aplomb by Saggy).

wiziwig.tv usually gives the socsportslive link for our games.
-
Me too, except forget the barrel.

^^^ This. I'm surprised Dalek hasn't chipped in to tell us (for the 1000th time) that the reason we got relegated was because Luggy was hired instead of Glenda.
