  1. Required vaccinations is not unreasonable. They're professional athletes, who already have work requirements that the rest of us don't (keeping fit, not eating junk, limited alcohol, no smoking, etc.) MLT excepted of course.
  2. Depends. If their list of ineligible includes unvaccinated and suspensions, then I say fuck them.
  3. I only saw it on my stream. Given that they are using thicker lines now I was surprised it was offside. Not that I'm complaining of course!
  4. Who cares? I'd rather he drop the ball after a clear foul than do a Boruc.
  5. Doesn't matter if it's deliberate or accidental. He collided with FF who had his hands on the ball. No goal according to the rules.

This. I'm surprised so many here are slagging FF for it and saying it wasn't a foul and he was lucky to have it disallowed. He dropped the ball after their player clattered into him FFS. On the other hand, Kane's goal looked onside to me.
  7. Yes, FF dropped the ball after their player collided with him. In that situation the benefit of the doubt is always given to the goalie, accidental or not. For example, Romeu had a goal disallowed for a far more minor goalkeeper infringement (can't remember which match). On the other hand Kane's goal looked onside to me. That's the one Spurs should be complaining about.
  8. Saints are good at proving that. Nicholl -> Br*nf**t, Luggy -> Wigley, Pearson -> 2 Dutch Jokers, Puel -> The Clown.
  9. Bednrek makes sense since the other 2 CBs are out with Covid. But yes, Walcott. FFS
  10. To be fair we've been doing that pretty well throughout the pandemic.
  11. Also, Ryan was a free agent so Leicester conned themselves.
  12. I have mixed feelings about Bertie's failures with them. I'm glad he is on their payroll now, but having said that he was a great buy and servant for us, and left at the right time and on good terms.
  13. Sigh. For the umpteenth time, deaths are the tip of the iceberg. It's the long Covid (organ damage, possibly permanent) that's the major concern (along with overflowing hospitals). Now omicron may hopefully result in lower long Covid cases, but the jury's still out on that.
  14. Which we blow in the second half.
  15. So we need to make sure that almost everything is fine for him at the club, but not quite all. Any suggestions? Make his tea too cold at half time?
  16. If true that's great. Source? I like a previous poster's suggestion: any anti-vaxxer player who goes down with it should not count toward the club's quota for postponement. So if half of more of the squad is infected and aren't vaccinated, tough luck, match goes ahead, playing with 7 if necessary, or 3-0 forfeit.
  17. No it wasn't, it was that hospital pass by Salisu that led to it. He (Salisu) was absolutely shite in the first half, but fortunately improved after the break. Lyanco was ok for the match I thought.
  18. Agreed, he did ok, and it made sense to take Broja off to protect him for Saturday. On the other hand, the less said about that waste of space Walcott the better. And I have finally given up on Djenepo, he is hopeless. I really wanted him to do well, and he has skill and energy, but the PL is beyond his level it seems.
  19. Hopefully Salisu can improve. He was awful in the first half.
  20. Agreed with all the others about the Tino/Perraud situation. The Palace attack looks scary (plus Edouard mini goal drought, gulp). Especially with old Willy in goal. I'd happily take a draw if offered it now.
  21. Are they singing that they're a bigger club than us?
  22. Interesting choice of gif, the ultimate American icon.
  23. Umm, I did. The crocked version of Ings, admittedly.
  24. Yep, they've got nothing much to worry about if they go down. A minor inconvenience. Unfortunately it's the opposite for us!
