The good posters no longer post here and you can see why...

He made a brief cameo appearance a few months back, but seems to have gone back into the woods. -
That reminds me, where's Batman? He used to do excellent summaries.

Norwegian, Swedish, they all look the same.
-
5 minutes gone, already two mentions of "record defeat" and "9-0" here in the States.
-
9.14% interest ... WTF??
-
It's not a matter of if, but when. I wonder how long it will take them to mention that result? Quicker than Shane Long's goal?
-
Rickie is his full name, Ricky for short.
-
Fantastic performance. All played well, special mention to Ings, Armstrong, Stephens, Bednarek. Diallo MoM.
-
And by that token maybe professional footballers would be fairly high on the vaccine priority list?
-
Fraser Forster I hope.
-
Bad luck that he's not that great a manager.

Have we been unlucky with ref/VAR decisions in the previous 4 games.

Yes there will always be borderline offsides, but by using feet only it will be much simpler to implement, with fewer errors. If a player's foot is offside by 1 mm and the goal stands, or 1 mm onside and it's ruled out, who cares? Those would be rare instances, and it'll even itself out over the short run. If a player is that close to being offside/onside both the attacker and defender can't complain if it the decision goes against them. Also someone mentioned that a player can score with other parts of his body. Again, who cares? The idea is to have a rule that stops long punts and goal hangers, and that wouldn't change using feet only. As they say, K.I.S.S. -
I'd bite your arm off. Strange, 69 matches and 2 years without a 0-0, and now 2 come along in a row, maybe 3. Just like London buses.

This has 0-0 written all over it.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
Dark Munster replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
In a way it's a good job he doesn't have that, otherwise Liverpool would snap him up faster than you could say Van Dick. -
Yes indeed, 69 matches apparently. Surprised no-one has mentioned it. It's been a long 2 years for Lord Trousers, not being able to say "this has 0-0 written all over it."

He hasn't scored in the PL since mid-September. So yes, you can bet your house on it.
-
Good news if it's only pain and not a serious injury, then that shouldn't slow Vestergaard down.
-
Another house won
-
One of Spurs, Liverpool, City and Chelsea will probably win it. There is definitely a chance for a team to do a Leicester though, but I don't think we have the depth. If a team does do a Leicester, my money's on Leicester.

USA Saints - No more NBC Gold
Dark Munster replied to Dark Munster's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Just to pour salt on the wounds, I got notification today that Arsenal vs Saints has just been dropped from Peacock tomorrow and moved to NBCSN (which I don't subscribe to). And now there are hardly any PL matches on Peacock. Dodgy streams here we go. -
Can't argue with that.
