  1. Bertie's defending has been excellent so far.
  2. Beaten probably, hammered less likely. This is a pre-season friendly. We should be relaxed with nothing to lose, and City have bigger fish to fry coming up.
  3. Has he ... Sorry. Too damned predictable.
  4. Certainly don't want Cardiff to come up (Sala non-payment disgrace). Also I don't want Leeds to go up. They are a sleeping giant, so if they get established in the PL it makes survival for clubs our size a bit more difficult. Plus they are horrible.
  5. "At their place" is our new home.
  6. Good point. Lemina comes to mind, to name just one. That being said, probably worth the risk if it means offloading FF.
  7. No danger of that, I'm much too old.
  8. Stephens with some very nice plays, especially that great run and pass to Ings. Valery a disastrous accident waiting to happen.
  9. I heard it took Steve Grant 3 days to port over Trousers' posts alone, causing the server to crash a couple of times.
  10. Big Vic is right. I never saw any players passing to Mane when he was playing under Poch.
  11. That's a huge but underrated virtue for a player*. Imagine if the likes of Pahars and Ekelund, etc. had been the same. *Provided the player is at least semi-decent.
  12. [video=youtube_share;RRHYTBDbDbY]
  13. I'm sure that's purely coincidental.
  14. A lot of gang bangs for Norwich, Villa, Watford, Bournemouth and Brighton players then.
  15. Oi, I'll have you know we in the USA are number one in that regard, thank you very much.
  16. Warning: Any takeover rumours can only be taken seriously if a yacht is mentioned at least once.
  17. Top post ant. Hope it works out for you.
  18. That's strange. When I read this I had a moment of euphoria and an image of a donkey entered my head. Can't figure it out.
  19. Get well soon RK. Never a good time to have a heart attack of course, but all the more worrying at this time. https://komonews.com/news/coronavirus/covid-19-poses-significant-threat-to-heart-patients-doctors-say
  20. So Brighton are objecting to remaining matches being held at neutral venues, because they would lose home advantage against the likes of Liverpool. If the league is to be played out, it would be behind closed doors anyway. So who gives a **** if the matches aren't at home? And restarting only if there's no relegation would be joke. If that would be the case virtually every player would do a Vestergaard, keeping social distance for the entire match.
  21. A lot of players are worried about restarting. Apparently Vestergaard isn't one of them and is wondering what all the fuss is about.
  22. That's the way I see it.
  23. I don't think anyone can beat his Youtube performance.
  24. Logged in and saw three separate threads on him today. Phew, thank God he's not dead.
