  1. Well both are in the team. So it will be an interesting battle between them for being the most crap.
  2. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58731216 "Only seven clubs' squads are more than 50% fully vaccinated, so we have a way to go..." Unfuckingbelievable.
  3. At least he got close to him. Jack Stephens was miles away, just ball watching.
  4. What an exciting/nervous finish. Lancs lose 4th just before tea. They need 78, Hants need the 6 wickets. About 50-50 at this stage? At least now the Warks match is irrelevant and Hants can’t lose the title by half a point.
  5. Could be academic if Warks get their 4th batting point. Then no one can catch them if they go on to win (which is very possible given how Somerset are currently playing).
  6. It takes Trousers 12 and a half days to achieve that.
  7. Well that's a classic good news/bad news.
  8. Adding insult to injury, I think in those days it was 0 points for a wash out draw. Ridiculous.
  9. "We scored 16 goals in the last three games here. I'd like more people to come on Saturday. We will be tired. Southampton are so dangerous. I invite all our people to come 3pm to watch our game." 🤣 That's right Pep, especially Redmond.
  10. But still no sign of Seaborne.
  11. Hampshire.
  12. Top of Div 1 with an opening batsman who's averaging 18 for the season! 😀 Assuming Yorks vs Warks isn't washed out tomorrow, there will be 4 teams separated by a handful of points. If Warks are one of them they have Somerset in their final match, who are rock bottom and seem to have lost all interest. So Yorks winning tomorrow may be better in that regard, as they have Notts in their final match. Whatever happens, I wonder if this new format becomes permanent? It's a bit American, divisions followed by a playoff type set up to decide the champion. It's good that all teams have a chance of become champions each season, but of course the Div 2 and 3 matches that follow are meaningless.
  13. Why not drop Weatherley for Crane, and have Organ open? He couldn't do any worse as an opener.
  14. After years of heartbreaking failures in escaping from the depths of the lower leagues, it appears the sleeping giant has a real shot of going up this year. Good luck, Black Cats!
  15. He was at fault for the West Ham goal.
  16. Ings would’ve buried that
  17. Hats off the Hants this season. They’ve come back from the dead more often than Dracula.
  18. What the hell is going on with Seaborne? He's been out for what seems like an eternity and not a peep from the club. The silence is deafening, we fans deserve to know.
  19. Surprised there haven't been more comments about the match in progress. It's on a knife edge, with the tail enders doing a good job of setting up semi-decent total. Assuming the weather holds this will almost certainly end in a win for one team or the other. If Hants win and they are still in with a chance of winning the title. Lose and it's all but over.
  20. JWP would've buried that.
  21. He saved us from relegation after essentially taking over from the useless, overrated, incompetent Souness who more or less gave up managing us half way through the season.
