https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_generation#England_(2001–2007) Belgium have one now it seems.

That left hand side is brutal. I don't fancy Austria going all the way.

Yep. It's been 4 years since they reached a major semi-final, and 6 years since getting to a final. So they are long overdue. Shite Germany > Golden generation England.

If Germany score a winner (highly possible) we'll get bloody France. Unless Portugal also get a winner. 🤔
-
Of course!
-
The permutations are crazy! The only guarantee is that France are through. Portugal and Germany could finish top or bottom.
-
That's a bit unrealistic. How about 2 more for Portugal and 1 more for Hungary?
-
At the moment it's bloody France.
-
That'll give us Hungary. But then Germany go through in 3rd place. Difficult choice.
-
As it stands Germany are out. Can we stop the count now?

-
I'm not. I hope they get thrashed in the next round. https://youtu.be/sOHgwMA18UI

Plus he keeps himself in incredible shape. Partly by drinking water instead of high fructose syrup crap.

Yes, but they have the Champions League crown as consolation.

The current Euros (and the last World Cup) shows VAR is fine. As long as the AR part of it isn’t a drooling, brainless, incompetent moron.

Do we beat Germany on penalties?
-
Yes, outsiders can win Euros (Greece and Denmark come to mind). With Germany we know they always qualify for a tournament they never lose on penalties (since their very first one where they learnt their lesson) they get to the semis or final an incredible number of times (even with mediocre teams), occasionally crashing out early with bad teams
-
They do find a way even with mediocre teams. The Germany we beat 5-1 went on to get to the final. And of course they never lose on penalties!
-
There seem to be more than the usual number of really strong teams this year. France and Belgium stand out of course, but Italy look better than they've been in years, Germany are Germany, ditto Spain. Portugal and England have some world class players (and for all his faults we have a manager who finally takes penalty shoot out preparations seriously - even though he was crap at it himself ... or maybe because he was). On paper this should be a great tournament. It's going to take a very good, and/or very lucky, team to get past Kante and France.
